Emerging Force

Getting the signal that everything is now safe and the orcs are gone. All five tribes civilians begin to move forward together.

Arriving at the battlefield, everyone was overwhelmed with emotions due to their victory against the orcs, the tribes that have decided to join Daniel can see hope for the future. For generations, they have live like animals and being hunted by the orcs. Everyone there have lost many love ones, some tribe are even consisted of purely survivors from multiple different tribes.

All of the other chieftain took this time to greet Daniel but since this is not the place to celebrate or get acquainted with each other. Daniel had everyone march back to the city quickly. They are in no shape to fight another hard battle with the orcs if they choose to come back.

The whole journey took them more then a day to complete due to many being the elderly, women, and children who can't keep moving without rest.

Thanks to the protection of the pike infantry in front while the guardsmen protects there rear and back together with the tribe warriors. The group arrived safely to the outskirts of honor tribe territory. In the distance, everyone was able to make out the rough layout of the giant white wall.

"My god, I have never see such a tall wall before..."

"Yeah and it made completely of stone as well."

"Mommy, are we really living in there?" asked a young child.

"Yes darling, we are finally safe." replied his mother with tears in her eyes.

Rumble! Rumble!

At this time, everyone can see a group of riders moving past them at a fast speed. Riding ahead, Daniel started to issue a series of orders to the militia as he reach the city gate.

"Get James, George, and Thomas to the throne room to meet me immediately! also gather some men and set up a relive station for the incoming civilians, cook up some food! Go inform old Joe that we have a lot of injured that need to be tended too!"

"Yes chieftain!"

Now that these people have join him then he won't treat them badly as long as they remain loyal.

As the militiamen rush off to carry out there tasks, Daniel rode towards the throne room together with his guards. With Gerald and Markus leading the defense, he's not worried about everyone safety.

Soon enough, the first patch of people started to come into the city and they can't help but marveled at it majestic beauty. The whole process from beginning to end took twenty minutes before everyone was gathered in the center of the city.

Loud echo soon rang out around the place.

"Everyone! get in line for your portion of food."

"If you are injured and need treatment then come this way!"

- Throne room -

Sitting on his throne, Daniel waited patiently for everyone to arrive while looking at the 3D hologram of the city. Within the hologram, he can see a total of nine spots available on the city wall to deploy catapults or trebuchet. Two at the first wall, three at the second wall, and four at the main city wall. This was noticed by him the first time that the hologram was used as they are hard to miss. At those spot, blue light flash nonstop with pictures of the siege engines.

If the orcs are foolish enough to attack the city, then he will use it as a mean to send them straight to hell. He couldn't implement that plan previously due to the lack of gold but now with the loan it can be made possible.

"We greet the lord!!" said everyone as they arrived inside the throne room including Gerald and Markus after successfully escorting the people to safety.

Hearing their voices, Daniel close the hologram and look at them before saying "take a seat everyone, we have much to do."

"Please instruct us lord."

"The orcs have now been alerted of our presence after the battle with their cavalry. There will likely be two scenarios that I can think off. First, the orcs will chase us here and besieged the city. Two, they will gather a larger force before attacking us after knowing that we have a large group of soldiers."

Said Daniel as he continues "regardless of what will happen, we must prepare ourselves."

Taking a slight pause to allow everyone to digest what he just said before looking at Thomas and said "Thomas, I will need you to rush the production of weapons and armors. We will try to equipped as many people as possible."

"Don't worry lord, I won't let you down!"

"James, cancel all hunts and foraging as of this moment. The outside will be dangerous at this time, we don't want our people captured by the orcs. Secure all of the supplies and distribute them fairly to everyone within the city while reserving a larger portion for the war effort."

"As you command lord!"

"George, I will need you to register all the new members of our tribe. Give them the proper accommodations, make it known that the houses in the third tier are available for them. Each family may pick a home to live in but stay clear of the stores and the other two city tiers."

"It shall be done lord!"

"Gerald and Markus, I hereby promote both of you to the rank of general. Markus will be under Gerald tutelage until he can function independently with enough strength. Both of you are hereby tasks with building up the military. Combine all available forces and form an actual army consisting of cavalry, spearman, swordsman, and archer. Time are tight so I won't expect all of that to be completed but at least get the basics down. Military discipline, law, and chain of command must be enforce." said Daniel.

"Yes lord!"

Getting up from the throne, Daniel wave his hands and said "lock down the city, man the walls, prepare the provisions, and let teach those orcs what would happen when they fuck with mankind!"

"With your blessings, we shall be victorious!"

"Now go and prepare!"
