Ch 22 "crap!"
We were laughing out loud at Emma's statement which grabbed most people's attention one of them was Ashton , we had an eye contact I smiled innocently waving my hand to him...and to be honest he looked upset I don't but he is normally a cheerful person with a high bright spirit but it seems that he is not okay I don't know... however he smiled back to me and waved back I was wondering what made him down like this or who?
"Where are you looking at- ohh Ashton I see" Chloe scoffed looking at me
"He doesn't look good.." I said still looking at him
"I don't know Lorraine he seems that...he is good I guess , like he is laughing and... talking with his friends ...ahhhh I think he is fine , whatever" Emma said ruffling her hair
"I don't know guys.." I said looking at the two girls beside me
"Well why don't you.....ask him?" Chloe said
"What! No of course!" I said backing away
Emma narrowed her eyes "why tho did you guys had a fight"
"No...but..first he is standing with his friends that will be rude if I popped out suddenly that's rude and awkward" I said in a low voice and it was clear that I was shy because of my red cheeks
Emma chuckle putting her hand on my shoulder "Lorraine that's it you need to stop this cuteness overload"
Chloe continued "And shyness!"
"Yup and shyness... Lorraine he literally jump's out of no where to talk to you and we didn't complain to give you guys some space but with what you are doing you are just giving him a sign to fuck off...do you wanna him to fuck off Lorraine?" Emma said bringing me closer to her
"...No"
"Then stop being ridiculous!" Emma said pushing me
"Girls why would I talk to him , and give him a chance when I AM not sure about my feelings or where our relation will go?!" I said crossing my arms to my chest Emma hummed and put her hand again on my shoulder
"Lorraine dear and let's be honest with each other okay"
"Yes?"
"That guy...Sam that dick boy , do you have a crush on him"
I pushed her away
"No!"
"Okay not Sam nor Ashton....then what?" Chloe said
"Then no one...I don't have feelings for no one at the moment I am concerned about Ashton as a friend!" I said furiously "just focus with your boyfriends"
"Then go and check on him as a nice friend then!" Emma said
"Lorraine look..if me or Emma feel bad...orrr...sad or need advice aren't you the one who help us with all this"
"Yes"
"Because we are friends same with you and Ashton.....for now at least" Chloe said rolling her eyes
"Okay fine...you win! Gosh!"
I took my bag and went towards Ashton's direction I was close but then I got nervous so I turned around to return back
"Lorraine!" Ashton called I stopped and looked back to him "Hi Ashton.." He smiled "Hi..I saw you wanted to talk to me but you backed away" he giggled making me more shy about my stupid action
"Yeah...sorry" I smiled
"Anyways tell me what do you wanna tell me..I am curious to be honest" he said that to lighten up our conversation
"Well...I wanted to ask you if you are okay or no because it seemed that you looked pissed off I guess"
He paused still smiling a bit he was trying to find...an answer...or it's private issue and I fucked up?!
"If you don't wanna speak about its okay-"
"Family issues" he faked a smile "My dad wants to take my sisters and...me and my mother refused but he is insisting....he tried so many times to convince them but they also refused so he started to use his power on us"
I gasped putting my hand on my mouth in shock who would do that!!! After having a new wife and another child another life! You still wanna ruin the other's life
"What are you gonna do...if you need my help I am here"
"Thanks Lor..but don't worry it's gonna be fine he won't stay like this for too long I know he will take action , and I must be ready"
"Again I am here if u need me okay?"
"Thank you I do really appreciate that" be smiled softly it was a weak one that made my heart shrink but I forced a smile to light it up for him

I returned back home where I met aunt Carla and Lucinda's calm Vibe which is pretty odd but I shrugged it off because I was really tired
"Carla!!! I am hungry!" I said scrolling down on my phone
"Yes honey just get fresh and I will finish" she said calmly so I assumed that she is tired from work " Carla you need help!!" I called her out from the living room "No honey I am okay just go and take a shower"
I was about to go but I hit Lucinda's shoulder " Girl I owe you a nice luxurious dinner on me"
She chuckled softly "Why?!"
"The project was a hit!!! Girl the Professor was shocked literally it was a master piece!!"
I found her smiling to me and looking down to the ground "I appreciate that although I know it will work"
"Lucy you need to learn how to say thanks on compliments"
"Thank you then.." she said it with a weak voice
"Heeey what's happening with you?"
" With me?"
"Yea you!!!" I asked furiously
"Lorraine honey just go refresh your self and we will talk about that later" Aunt Carla cut us
"See Lucy I knew you were hiding something!!"
She chuckled "That's why I am scared"
