Nathan

As I walk the streets of the cold and dark city of Moncton, I feel an eerie chill go down my spine. I turn around abruptly, but found nothing behind me. But in the corner of my eye, I see a pair of glowing eyes staring at me. "Well. Well. If it isn't Aria Fisco, the saviour. Why are you on our territory?" A vampire with long brown hair and red lips emerges from the darkness and smiles. "Your territory? This is human land! Has Bradley finally made a move? Also, you're going to tell me what you guys are planning, or else I'm going to make you." I make a growl escape my throat. "I like you. The name's Faith, you should really use those skills by joining us. It would serve useful." Faith tries to persuade me. "Yeah, how about hell no." Faith's smile fades into an angry expression. "Well whatever. I got to go to my pet, goodbye "saviour." Have a good time." Faith turns, laughs menacingly and runs into the dark street, out of sight."

As I walk the streets, I think back to what Faith had said. "You should really use those skills by joining us. It could serve useful." 'why does Bradley want me to join them? His first tactic was to scare me to be terrified of him. Which failed miserably, maybe it's his way of a plan B? Stupid plan if you ask me.' "Snarl" I jerk my head towards the noise, Faith is climbing a building to get into a human apartment. "What the hell is she doing? She's going to expose the supernatural world out to the humans?!" I whisper to myself. Hiding behind a tree near the house, I eavesdrop on a conversation of her talking with someone. "Come on Faith, feed already." I immediately look to my left and who do I see? BRADLEY. "Stop playing with your food." I hyperventilate. 'Only get intel? Stay out of this my ass! This is Bradley! I have to do something!'

I look into the apartment, Faith is trying to seduce a man, judging by the voice of the person. But that voice, it sounds too familiar. 'Who the hell is with Faith? Why can't I pinpoint that voice with a face?' "Haugh haugh." I know that laugh from anywhere! 'Nathan???' I met Nathan in the pitiful excuse for a high school. Even worse, it was a HUMAN school. He was like the jock of chorus and music class. The selfish jackass that nearly had all the girls wrapped around his finger. His "perfect" voice and his "gorgeous" blonde hair was the best combination to woo them like under a spell. But over all that "perfectness" he is not to be trusted. I told him about mother being dead and he spread that all over the school, like a wildfire, it kept spreading and when everyone knew, I got bullied and harassed because of him.

"All my fears are here. Great just freaking wonderful." I grumble to myself. 'But I can't let Faith kill him, it would only make a plus one to their numbers.' I peak into the window, Nathan's back is turned and Faith's fangs poke through, ready to feast. 'I have to make this choice now or he WILL die!' "Screw the mission." As Faith pounces on Nathan, inches away from his neck, I climb the tree as fast as my animalistic instincts can take me and smash through the window, my canine teeth bared. Faith immediately scrambles off of Nathan and glares, her red eyes glowing in the light. "Leave now or fight me!" I growl. Faith smirks and says "I will gladly leave but Bradley has called some reinforcements. Better run saviour!" My eyes widen, 'A trap!' I look at Nathan who is sprawled on the floor from the aftermath of Faith, who is in terrified. As Faith jumps from the window, I hear faint sirens. "Dammit!" I grit out of my teeth. "Aria?? What the hell is going on! What was she? Why did she call you saviour?!" Nathan hyperventilates. "Nathan, can you you give me a second to think, jeez! Ok, so I am a shifter, and she is a Duskwalker." Nathan stares right through me. "Sigh, We are Wolves and they are Vamps. Got it?!" Nathan snickers. "Yeah, and I'm the Easter Bunny." He rolls his eyes. "I'm serious Nathan, stop thinking and listen. Just Don't. Freak. Out ok?" Nathan looks at me, confused. I focus and shift into my wolf form, blue eyed and white fur, Nathan looks at me, petrified and screams.

"Good doggy, don't kill me."Nathan backs away slowly, panicking. I roll my eyes and telepathically speak. "I'm still a person you moron. I'm not a dog." Nathan jumps and squeaks. "Stop gawking at me and help me think of a plan to get out of here. Or do you want to die at the hands of them?" Nathan suddenly resorts to anger. "This is YOUR problem, Aria! This is YOUR world not mine!" Nathan snaps. "If neither of us figure out a plan, we are BOTH dead! So use what little brain you have left!" I growl Nathan furrows his eyebrows. "Wait a minute, how much do you weigh? I think I have a plan." I blurt out. "120, why? What do you got Aria?" 'really? you haven't figured it out yet stupid?' "Get on! Or do you have a better idea?" I snap. Nathan jumps, but quickly recovers. "Okay, are you sure that you can hold my weight?" Nathan asks, hesitant. "Just get on."

Sirens blazing from a block away. "Are you ready? Hold on!" Nathan grips my fur tightly, wincing a little, I leap out of the smashed window and land on the ground, skidding on the pavement. "There they are men!" I hear on my right. "They found us!" Nathan shrieks. "Oh relax, I can lose them easily!" I growl and crouch into a sprinting position, leap and run as fast as I can. "They're on the run! Where are you going saviour?" I hear one of them call to me. "BANG" "They're shooting at us!" Nathan panics. "I'm not deaf Nathan! Don't worry, I got it!" As a bullet whizzes past me, I jump off a wall and spin, dodging oncoming bullets. "Woah! That was awesome-" "Focus Nathan!" As I turn a corner, I hear Nathan yell. "On your left! They have us outnumbered!" "Well no use of running anymore. I'm ready for the fight." I look at Nathan while running. "When I say, jump okay?" Nathan quickly looks at me and exclaims "What?!" "Just do it!" I growl. As I get closer to the Duskwalkers, I finally yell the signal. "Now!" Nathan jumps off and lands on the pavement, I land in front of the Duskwalkers, ready to fight.
