Moon Yonghwa's arrival

Jhaesun did not go back to bed instead he cleaned and rearranged his bedroom

Yonghwa was coming to stay for the entire summer what a dream come true who could sleep?

he moved a single bed into his room from the guest room and moved his computer desk

so it was against the wall facing the two beds they would be able to watch

movies and play games together in comfort he cleaned out and

made space in his closet and chest of drawers for Yonghwas things he showered and got

dressed to go the airport in jeans his favorite cool gray hoody over a T-shirt

as the sun came up

and his dad woke up

and got ready to get into alterran vehicle they left the base very

early soldiers at the gate noticing the commander-general was going out early with his son

jhaesun and his father waited at the airport

Jhaesun's phone rang he answered it

"Yonghwa hey where are you?"

"I am landing soon in an hour" he replied

"We are waiting at the airport already for you," jhaesun said "I cleaned my room and everything it looks really nice, my dad says you can stay with us it's no problem"

Yonghwa released a sigh of relief "thank you Jhaesun I was worried this was so sudden"

"my dad won't turn away a friend in trouble" Jhaesun replied confidently

"I can't wait for you to get here we are going to have an awesome summer together"

Yonghwa giggled "I am looking forward to it too getting to meet you again in person

see you soon in an hour"

"bye Yonghwa see you," Jhaesun said as hung up his father was drinking coffee and reading a newspaper in the waiting lounge

"he's going to land in an hour dad," Jhaseun said sitting to him

"thats good can we go eat some breakfast now at the cafe," Gregory said folding up his newspaper

"yes let's eat" Jhaesun agreed happily

"then we come back in an hour," the general said as they made their way to a nearby airport cafe

for a meal they ate and waited for Yonghwa's plane to land before going back to the arrivals area

there were several people there waiting to pick up travelers but it was so early in the morning so there was not that much of a crowd

as the overnight arrivals passengers came streaming through the arrivals area a few people at a time

eventually, a boy came out being escorted by a stewardess who was towing one of his suitcases while yonghwa towed the other one his backpack on his back

jhaesun waiting anxiously was very visible among the people with his bright blond hair pacing up the down in front of many adults

Yonghwa soon spotted him

"jhaesun!" he called out waving to him he heard him his eyes widening as he saw him

as he came towards him a tall older man with broad shoulders and a stern-looking face sandy blond hair a mustache and blue eyes followed him

"Yonghwa you made it!" Jhaesun said the bigger boy hugging him gently Yonghwa buried his face in his chest feeling his warmth it was so warm and comforting he felt such relief his body was going weak

"are you alright?" he asked him looking down at his masked face with a frown

Yonghwa gently pulled his mask down "I'm okay" he said with a little sad smile

Jhaesun only frowned more Kneeling on one knee and

gently taking off the mask so he could look at his injury

"It must hurt a lot," he said worriedly "look at your lip did you put anything?"

yonghwa nodded "it has ointment and medicine in my bag and I took pain killers"

"Mr sawyer put on cooling packs to its sort of numb for now"

"Hello Moon Yonghwa I'm Jhaesuns father Gregory Park," his dad said offering his hand gently kneeling to his level,

Yonghwa was such a small boy for fourteen he had expected a bigger child but this boy looked like he was at least twelve years old and not his true age because of his slight size

"Hello Mr. Park sir it's nice to meet you," Yonghwa said politely shaking his hand "I am sorry about doing things last minute"

"it's alright," his father said "you are in a bit of trouble it only makes sense to run first since you can't fight it's how you survive" he smiled sadly poor kid

"let's get you home the base doctor will give you a check-up first ok and take care of your injury"

"ok thank you" Yonghwa agreed his father took the luggage and led the two boys to his alterran

Yonghwa gazing out the window at the beauty of the scenery that was different from Zypher

there were city buildings and houses but there was a lot of open lands where wild animals could roam around among the trees and grassy fields

there were ranches and farmlands and of course the military base to where they returned

was also massively huge all kinds of vehicles and people coming and going from what looked like a

city in the middle of nowhere but only military people lived in this city it was surrounded by high walls

and a gate that was being guarded by soldiers in uniform at the guard station next to the gates

that soon let them in after jhaesun and his dad showed their IDs they drove into a suburban neighborhood that had big family-type houses and tree-lined streets some homes had children outside on the front lawns

some of them had retired soldiers and people on the porches hanging out the general honked his horn as they passed by some houses

the people there all waving back and responding in a friendly way it seems jhaesun's dad was well known to everyone

they soon came to a house that was similar and drove into the driveway there was a bicycle next to the house and a swing bench on the porch

and a blue front door with a large lawn with a scraggly flower bush on the corner next to a blue male box with five gold stars painted on it

the house looked very friendly yonghwa thought smiling as he got out of the car it wasn't as fancy as his dad's house but he could practically feel the warmth of jhaesun and his dads house with windows that looked like they smiled at him

"Welcome to our home Yonghwa lets get your luggage unloaded in Jhaesuns room and then I will take you for a medical check-up ok"

"yes thank you Mr. Park" he replied

"call me Gregory thats more comfortable for you," his father said

"Gregory" yonghwa repeated his father might look stern and strict but he was a nice man

Jhaesun was grinning happily as he led yonghwa to his house it was nice and warm like he expected in the doorway was shoes piled on the mat with a hallway

that had a stairway that led upstairs but if you continued down the hallway there was a living room kitchen dining room, the main parts of the home

if you went up the stairs in the hall you would go up the bedrooms which were three bedrooms each which its own bathroom

Yonghwa was led to Jhaesuns room which was the middle bedroom his dad's room was the first master bedroom and the third was a guest room
