DodgeBall Battle!!!

It's Been 4 Months After The Dreadful Battle With Enthra…

Habakkuk was walking home from the gym, he was just working out and surprising everyone there with his crazy strength. Sure he made sure to suppress his strength to the max but he was still benching over 500 pounds. It was unbelievable because he had a small body with some muscle but he was making these muscular men who regularly came to the gym look like chumps. They kept asking him what he did to get so strong, some even suggested that he was on steroids but Habakkuk just responded by telling them "I just do push-ups, sit ups, and drink plenty of juice." That was one of his top references from his favorite anime he watched.

Habakkuk still had the memory in his head as he was walking home, he was smiling…

Habakkuk:Alright now that I got the gym out of the way, it's about time I go back home and finish getting ready for school.

Habakkuk had some fries in the air fryer and was waiting for him when he got back from the gym. He would look in the fridge and see a carton of orange juice. His face quickly went to disgust as he said "ew orange juice, who put you here?" He would move the orange juice out the way and his face would light up as soon as he saw the apple juice.

Habakkuk:Oh yeah! Fries and Apple juice!! This is the cause for a song!!

Habakkuk would grab a fork and use it as a mic and started singing.

Habakkuk:I LOOOOOVEEEEE The fRIESSSSSSS! I got my fries with my apple juice, pull up to the school feeling brand new, coming up from the roots with the same crew. I'm feeling like a mystery call me blues clues.

Habakkuk sighed and looked down.

Habakkuk:These songs don't hit the same as they used to… I miss the old days. Dana, why did you have to go?

Habakkuk ate his food, showered, and left for school.

Habakkuk entered the building and got through most of the day of school, bored and a little depressed… Dana's death stuck with him really hard, even after 4 months, there wasn't a day where he didn't get sad. He wondered what Mrs Thayer told Dana's family, but Mrs Thayer always told him to not worry about it, so Habakkuk left it be.

It was time for PE class, they were having a sports day today, it was Friday so there was a lot to go on.

Habakkuk got into his casual gym shorts and wore a black T shirt. He was ready for gym but he didn't seem to excited, he still looked sad. His friends from school tried everything in their power to cheer him up for months but nothing worked. This was something Habakkuk had to get out of on his own.

Habakkuk was playing basketball by himself, just shooting the ball in a hoop over and over again.

Habakkuk:Dana used to love playing this… I remember all the times he used to make me check him, and embarrassed me completely with his skills… hahaha man what a guy…

Suddenly a dodge ball went flying at Habakkuk extremely fast, Habakkuk dodged quickly because that caught him by surprise and the ball caused a huge dent in the wall.

???:Hey jackass! Let's play dodgeball!

Habakkuk:You!

It was Nakir and Adron, and they brought Laci and Matt. Kayla also went to Habakkuk's school so she joined in with them.

Habakkuk:What are you guys doing here? Y'all don't go to this school. How did they let you in? Oh and hi Kayla.

Nakir:Mrs Thayer pulled some strings for us

Laci:Yeah she told us to come and check up on you, she said you need our company right now.

Habakkuk:So she saw me acting all pathetic…

Adron:Did you really think we'd let you beat us? You already surpassed us in battle power, but there's no way in hell you're beating us in sports especially me and Matt!

Matt:Facts, you don't even know what to do with that ball, let me show you you how it's done.

Habakkuk:But I thought we were playing dodgeball you short shrimp!

Matt:You right, ugly bitch!

Habakkuk:Hey that's not nice!

Nakir:Yeah so let's play some dodgeball I'm about to embarrass you Bakka, there's no way in hell you're gonna beat me, you suck at sports!

Habakkuk:Shut up!! Let's do this!!

Everyone picked their teams.

Laci and Kayla teamed up. Nakir and Adron always team up so you know. And Matt had no choice but to choose Habakkuk.

Matt:Look Habakkuk don't embarrass me! Or make us look bad.

Habakkuk:Yeah yeah, can we come on already?!

Nakir:Ha! Matt got Habakkuk, yo Matt I hope you know you're gonna lose!

Adron:Nakir leave them alone, they know they can't beat us.

Nakir:You know what bro? You right!

Matt:Shut up we finna make y'all eat those words!

Habakkuk:That's right!

Everyone got into their stances and sides, Adron/Nakir on the west, Laci/Kayla on the east, and Habakkuk/Matt on the south… no one took the north section, so it was a 3 team free for all game!

Adron:I sure hope y'all all ready!

Matt:Oh we are…

The game started!

Everyone ran to grab two balls. There were 12 in total. Everyone on the team had a confident expression on their face, it was going to be a good game.

Laci and Kayla would jump back and Laci would leapfrog over Kayla and throw one of her balls at Nakir and Adron. Adron smacked the ball away with one of his, not even turning to look at it, he just knew he had it in the bag.

Nakir frowned

Laci:Damn, he's good… I gotta watch out for him!

Nakir:Heh… that was a pathetic display Laci, even if you are my girlfriend… I'm not impressed.

Laci:Nakir, you shut up you asshole!

Kayla:Laci, calm down. Don't let him get into your head, we got this!

Laci:You know what Kayla? You're right!

They would give each other a girly high five and then their faces got intense.

Matt:Alright, so Habakkuk.

Habakkuk:Yeah?

Matt:I want you to focus on Nakir, I got Adron… but if either of us happen to be having trouble we have to let each other know… teamwork is key.

Habakkuk:Spoken like a true leader, let's do this Matt!

Nakir:So they look like they just told a game plan, so what's ours Adron?

Adron:Nakir, you secure the perimeter and try to guard any attacks that come in our direction…. I'll be offense for now, and then we can switch every 3 minutes, got it?

Nakir:No complaints with that, but can I also play offense if I see an opening?

Adron:Of course!

Nakir smirked and cracked his knuckles.

Nakir:Then let's get this started!

The girls just got done telling their plan as well, now the game was going to truly be interesting.

Kayla would use her magic to make them go into another dimension where others can't get hurt by them, but it still appeared for them to be in the same room. She would then let the others know what she did.

Kayla:Now that I did that, we can all use our abilities without feeling like we're too limited.

Laci:Thanks Kayla, now I can show them what I'm made of!

Nakir:Bet now I can really stretch my body out!

Adron:I can fully cut loose!

Matt:I can use my advanced tech skills!

Habakkuk:I guess I'll let out just a little bit of my power… after all it's only right.

Habakkuk smiled.

Nakir:You cocky little shit! You think because you're so strong and powerful that you can just hold back and act all arrogant and beat us easily like we're not a threat?! We all got stronger too you bozo! So there's no way in hell you're gonna beat me… got it?!

Nakir pointed his finger to his own chin in an arrogant way.

Habakkuk:Yeah sure whatever, go fix your bra or something little girl.

Nakir:Oh yeah you wanna go there forehead man?!

Habakkuk:My big forehead has nothing to do with this, but maybe I can punch yours and we'll have matching foreheads!

Nakir:I'll like to see you try!

Nakir whipped out his flaming chains and Habakkuk got into his fighting stance.

Laci/Kayla/Adron/Matt:WILL YOU TWO KNOCK IT OFF?!!!

Habakkuk:Oh yeah sorry, I got a little carried away hehe...

Nakir:Uhh yeah… my bad.

Laci:Idiots…

Matt:Now let's do this!

Adron:Ready when you are!

Everyone got into their stances again and it was time to play!

Adron and Matt had their eyes locked on each other, seeing who would make a move first. Habakkuk and Nakir kept throwing the balls at each other and catching the ones being sent at them just to throw them again repeatedly, it was getting them nowhere.

Kayla and Laci jumped into the air and powered up with their aura around them and fired heart blasts and magical spheres to the floor, making it rain on the other players to keep them moving around and distracted enough to get hit by a ball.

Matt would put a force field around him with his tech watch he had on his right arm. He wasn't being hit by the blasts and there was no way for him to be hit by a ball. Adron was using his super speed to easily move away from any raining blasts and he would even phase out of them or leave after images of himself behind to confuse the girls.

Habakkuk and Nakir were jumping around and dodging the blasts, they seemed like they were on the ropes. The girls had them right where they wanted them. Kayla would make a magical astral projection portal and send her and Laci's 4 balls flying at the 2 boys in different directions so it can be a guaranteed hit.

Habakkuk seemed to be trapped

Nakir pulled out his chains and knocked away some of the blasts, Laci appeared behind him with a heart blast while two of her balls went flying at him. Nakir quickly ducked and swept Laci off her feet and used his chains to grab her and slam her into her own balls. And when that happened, it seemed like she was out. But it was just a clone Kayla made with her magic, and the real Laci appeared over Nakir with a heart blast in her hand. She hit Nakir and he went flying towards the balls, Nakir would then grab his chains and make them wrap around the balls and he would spin in the air, and make a tornado with his chains, and hit Laci with her own balls… and just like that Laci was out!

Laci was kinda sad but she was happy she could at least fool Nakir and hit him once. She would walk to the bleachers and then smile.

Laci:You got this Kayla!!

Kayla:Right!

Kayla had Habakkuk trapped, dodging the raining blasts and trying to dodge the balls that were going at him. She would then make 4 clones of herself using her magic, and they all had dodgeballs flying at him. Now there were 10 balls he had to worry about, plus the magic blasts.

Kayla:What will you do now? Habakkuk…

Habakkuk:Shit! I'm going to be out! Think! Think!

Habakkuk would make clones of himself to get hit by the balls. Habakkuk would then use a blast to get himself high into the air above all of the raining blasts and he would then take down each of Kayla's clones one by one, and he would then appear in front of her with a blast. She would then make an energy shield to block it, and she would then send several blasts at him to push him into her dodgeballs she got floating in the air. Then suddenly she got sent crashing down to the ground by a dodgeball covered in green aura. It was the real Habakkuk, he secretly made a clone charge up at her with a blast making it seem like it was the real him but the real him was the one who snuck behind her.

Habakkuk:Haha looks like I beat you! Oh yeah I got one out!

Matt:Good job, now we don't have to cover ourselves from those blasts.

Kayla:That was really fun, and your strategy was even better than mine, you've really come a long way… it's as expected from the leader of team Prophecy.

Habakkuk:Hehe alright let's move on to the next!

Kayla went to go sit with Laci and they were just smiling and talking.

Nakir and Habakkuk looked at each other, both sharing glares. Matt and Adron did the same, they both laughed.

It was time for the REAL GAME TO BEGIN!!!

Nakir grabbed one of his balls and used his chain to grab another. Habakkuk picked up his two balls and enveloped them in green aura. Matt had his two androids appear and they also had two balls in their hands. Adron had red electricity go around his body, getting ready to use his crazy speed.

Nakir:Adron, these guys think they're gonna win, hah let's show them!

Adron:Of course, there's no way in hell they're gonna win…

Matt:Yeah alright, we'll see about that!

Habakkuk:Heh!

Habakkuk and Nakir slowly walked towards each other until they got at least 8 feet away then stopped. Matt would make an energy shield, and Adron made his body phase.

The girls watched on.

Laci:Who do you think is gonna win?

Kayla:It's hard to tell… Habakkuk is very strong, but Adron has super speed, and Nakir has those chains… but Matt has the major advantage when it comes to defense…

Laci:So it's not just about strength… Nakir might win this!

Kayla:I believe in Matt and Habakkuk.

Suddenly a huge clash of aura went off!

Habakkuk dodged one of Nakir's chains that had blue flames on it. And Nakir dodged one of Habakkuk's small green blasts. Habakkuk would kick a ball at Nakir with a lot of strength behind it… Nakir would smack the ball away with his chains and Habakkuk instantly appeared underneath him trying to hit him with a ball in the chin. Nakir would quickly jump back and do a backflip. He would also use that opportunity to wrap a chain around Habakkuk's leg and he would swing him around the gym and send him flying into a wall. Nakir would then throw one of the balls at Habakkuk and wrapped it in his blue flames. The dodgeball came flying fast towards Habakkuk, but Habakkuk instantly ducked and went charging at Nakir.

Matt had his Androids chasing Adron shooting dodgeballs at him. Adron was way too fast for them… Matt was a bit annoyed by Adron's speed, so he cranked up their speed a bit more… Adron was now on the ropes because they were spinning around him like a tornado. Matt was now approaching with the two dodgeballs in his hands.

Adron's eyes glowed red and he would instantly out paste those androids, running around them until they turned into tin canned metal… Adron would then speed blitz Matt, run around him back and forth until Matt's energy shield broke.

Habakkuk would force push Nakir, with his energy pressure and then shoot a ball at Nakir… Nakir would then turn his body into flames and escape the balls. Then he appeared around Habakkuk as he was nothing but flames. Habakkuk eyes widened but he would then smirk and he made his aura burst. The green aura sent Nakir flying back in his normal form.

Adron grabbed a ball and ran at Matt at insane speeds. Matt would then stomp his right foot and on the ground and focus his right hand, and then a blue aura just went around Adron's body, freezing him in place. Now Adron was stuck with no way to escape. This was Matt's chance to get Adron out.

Adron:Damn it! I can't move, he's completely got me frozen! There's no way I can even get out of here on time… even if I manage to find some way to escape, he would have already gotten me out by then… how was he even fast enough to accurately catch me at the speed I was running at?!

Matt:So long Adron, don't be sad… look at it like this, speed isn't everything, especially if you're going up against an opponent with a sharper mind.

Adron:There has to be something I can do… Come on Adron, what have you accomplished during training? Think… think… I got it!!

Matt got ready to fire the dodgeball into Adron's direction…

Adron started to make his right hand shake, he was moving so fast that his hand started phasing with the ball in it. Adron would then really be able to move his hand and he was so fast that he made the ball go through the ground!!

Matt shot the ball at Adron, and it went flying straight at him. But suddenly a ball appeared from under Matt's chin, and hit him, sending him flying into the air. But Matt's ball would hit Adron in the chest and made him fall to the ground. They both were out!

Habakkuk and Nakir looked on in amaze by what they both did.

Adron and Matt smirked at each other and came up with many excuses for why they lost to each other, and new ways to figure out each other's abilities. Then they would go sit on the bleachers with the girls.

Nakir and Habakkuk glared at each other and got ready for the final game!

Nakir:You ready Bakka?

Habakkuk:When am I not?

Nakir appeared behind Habakkuk wrapping his chain around both of his arms and swung him into the air, then he fired a dodgeball at him.

Nakir:I'd say right now!!

Habakkuk would then do a flip, dodging the ball and then he would kick a green blast out of his feet, destroying the chains.

Nakir:That's it!

Nakir would start to make blue flames come out of his body, and his eyes turned blue as well.

Nakir:You're going to take me seriously if you like it or not!!

Nakir went dashing at Habakkuk, at insane speeds. Habakkuk was shocked by the sudden change in Nakir. He instantly dodged Nakir's dodgeball attack. Nakir would try to sweep Habakkuk off of his feet, Habakkuk would leap into the air but then Nakir would smack him down with a surprising chain of blue flames.

Habakkuk would hit the ground but he landed on his knees and palms. Nakir came down with an axe kick, Habakkuk quickly dodged in that instant, but he got smacked with another wave of chains. Nakir would then wrap 20,000 chains around Habakkuk's body and swung him high into the air. Nakir's eyes started to glow blue and he would make the flames flow around his chains. Nakir would then slam Habakkuk around on several walls and he would then throw him into the air just to slam him onto the ground. Adron and the others watched intensely routing for their respective teammates.

Nakir:Yeah how do you like my chains of flame?! Feel the burn yet? Get ready to lose Bakka!!!

Nakir wrapped his dodgeballs in blue flame as he still had Habakkuk stuck in the chains, he would then throw the balls at him, seemingly about to take the victory.

Nakir:Hahahaha! You ain't so confident now are you?!

Habakkuk's eyes glowed green as a mini explosion went off in front of Nakir, blinding him for the moment. The smoke would clear and everyone was shocked by the outcome. Habakkuk was right in front of Nakir with a dodgeball touching his chest. Habakkuk took the victory. Kayla and Matt cheered on. Adron was kinda disappointed but he let it go and Laci wanted to cheer Nakir up.

Nakir:But how did you do that?

Habakkuk:In the moment I released that green explosion I sent out a clone to go tag you with a dodgeball to get the victory. Oh and yeah I'm that clone… the real me is over there celebrating with Matt.

Nakir:What?!!! You little!!!

Habakkuk;Bye Bye!

Habakkuk's clone would disappear and Nakir sadly walked over to the others pouting.

Habakkuk:Aw cheer up Nakir, we win some we lose some.

Nakir:Yeah yeah shut up!

Adron:We'll get them next time buddy.

Matt:You actually won, that was a good game out there!

Habakkuk and Matt shook hands.

Nakir:Ice cream and burgers?

Habakkuk:With an extra side of large combo curly fries?!

Nakir:Hell yeah!

Habakkuk:Let's go!!!

So they all went out to eat at a restaurant and they had fun, Habakkuk wasn't sad anymore and he actually enjoyed himself for once. They would all go their separate ways and Habakkuk would begin to walk home that night by himself.

Habakkuk:What a night ya know? I had fun, it really took my mind off things. I appreciate those guys for real.

As Habakkuk walked further, something can be seen watching him from the shadows, and a dark eerie presence could be felt but surprisingly Habakkuk couldn't sense it he only got the chills.

Habakkuk:It's so cold out, but it doesn't feel normal… I just got chills sent down my spine… what is this feeling?

Suddenly a barrage of pink aura blades went flying at Habakkuk, who quickly dodged.

Habakkuk:What the?!

Then Habakkuk had to jump out of the way of a huge pink aura whip that caused a huge crack in the ground, going deep in. Habakkuk's eyes widened as he was shocked and shaken up by this sudden ambush.

Habakkuk:Who-

Suddenly a person in a white mask with glowing pink eyes and a black cloak like suit (she wore a tight black bodysuit that made her curves really shine, and she were like a black hooded cloak like cape over it) came rushing at him with pink aura blades in her hands ready to slice him apart. Habakkuk froze there in the moment taken aback by all of this. She was going to finish him!!

Narrator Habakkuk:Just when we finally got to have a break and have peaceful times, some mysterious woman just came out of nowhere trying to kill me!! It's like I can never live my life in peace no more! I couldn't even sense her energy and honestly that's scary... but I got this, watch me and her battle it out in the next episode! Mysterious warrior vs Habakkuk!
