Apryl knew that she wasn't going to be able to sleep after her conversation with Brian happened, it had unsettled her too much for her to sleep or focus on much of anything else. She didn't like what he was saying, but beyond the hidden threat in his voice and the vague way he spoke, he didn't get any indication as to what exactly he was planning.

All Apryl knew was that she wasn't going to be able to let her family stay there for much longer and that she couldn't hide the conversation from her mother who was already on edge between the changes that was going on and the pups. Summer would be worse off if she didn't know that something unknown was going on. Without the information she wouldn't be aware of the fact that sudden unexpected action might have to be taken.

Around that she knew she would also have to tell everyone else what was going on regardless of if they were awake or not because it would affect them since they were offering their help to her. With it being midnight, she had honestly been surprised that both Chester and Keith were still awake. She anticipated having to wait the night out and explain everything in the morning when they woke up.

A long span of silence followed the text conversation that she had with the other two werewolves, Chester being the more communicative of the two males. He asked her a number of question that she wasn't certain how to answer right away and that required her to rely on her mom for a way to explain it to him.

The next text came after about a two hour lull this one was a private text from Chester explaining that he was sending someone her way that could provide her some service in dealing with the problem. She asked about who the person was and when to expect them but was interrupted by a sudden phone call that caused the mother wolf to growl even though she should've known what the sound coming from Apryl's phone was.

"Hello?" She answered, she didn't really want to take the call, but Chester said that it would be from someone who could help so she didn't have much of a choice.

"I hope that I got this number right and I'm speaking with Apryl?" The man's voice came as a soft yet calming whisper.

"That is me and you're the person that Chester said would be able to help out?" She clarified and was met with an 'mm' sound on the other end of the phone that she believed was a confirmation of this.

"I know that it is rather late, but considering how urgent he made it sound, I thought that it would be better for me to contact you as soon as possible rather putting it off." He explained.

"Oh and before I get too far, you can refer me to as Houston. No offense to you, but it is better for me to give out my real name for safety sake." He added on pausing for a second perhaps to give Apryl time to process everything he was saying.

"From what I understand you're living near or with a fellow werewolf whom you believe is a threat to your family?" He asked, Apryl didn't reply right away as she heard odd sounds in the background that distracted her.

"Um, yes. He's a relation sort of, married to my mother's second cousin." She replied. Being tired was making her more hyper aware of every little unfamiliar sound that she heard.

" Alright and what kind of threat would you describe him as? I am here to help but I need to gather a bit of information before I decided what the best course of action would be."

"Honestly, I don't know. He just vaguely said something about planning something, but didn't say exactly what he was talking about or with who." She explained

"And something about not letting us good because it was good fortunate that he had us come to stay there." She added on as she tried to think about everything he had said to her.

"And you're in the middle of moving your family around if Chester explained correctly due to the fact that your mother wasn't comfortable around this werewolf prior to this statement?" She heard scratching in the background which she figured indicated that Houston was taking notes.

"Yes. Something about saying he smelled like he had blood on his hands." Apryl answered, glancing over at her mother who was only half listening to what was being discussed.

"I see. To clarify, he's not someone you've met either prior to moving in recently with him and your mother's cousin."

"No, but there is someone in my pack who thinks that they have heard stories about him from when they were together with a different pack though they never met him directly to know for certain only that they shared the same name."

"And what name would that be?" Houston asked, the background noise stopping as he waited to hear what the other's reply would be.

"Brian. I don't know what his last name is though." She admitted. She never thought to ask her aunt what his last name was or the one that he had given her.

"I see. Well thank you for that. I will do something immediately to try and help with this situation."

"Thank you?" She replied not certain if that was the right type of response to give in this situation since she didn't quite know how the other werewolf was intending on helping her out.

"It's nothing. After all, this is exactly why this branch was put together in the first place. We will send someone to watch out for him and try to track what he might be doing. If you think you're safe to continue moving your family, don't hesitate to do so. Otherwise, try to hang tight while we resolve this issue quickly." He tried his best to assure her.

Apryl thanked him before the call was ended. She wasn't quite sure though what following Brian around was going to accomplish if there was already something in motion that he had been planning. She supposed she would just have to wait and see what happened and try to figure out in the meantime when it would be safe for her to think about continuing to move her family safely.
