Strange

The caffeine probably worked a touch too well for both of the werewolves that hadn't taken it because of the sudden shift in energy they had that they weren't used to. Chester gave Callum a disapproving look when he had come back from class and noticed that there were something different about the other two werewolves.

"I was only trying to help a bit with their tiredness." Callum defended his action. He had put the box back in his backpack already but the taller werewolf could already tell what he did.

"And you thought that it would be a good idea to give them as much as you did?" Chester asked as he watched the other to werewolves talking more than usual.

"You're going to cause a problem with that." He said with a sigh and he went over to interject into whatever they were talking about. They were being a bit closer than he thought that they should be and probably weren't aware of it because what they had taken.

"Chester. Thank you. I talked to that person you had sent over and they were very helpful." Apryl told him in a rather excited tone which was very different from how she usually interacted with him.

"You don't need to thank me. It was nothing. It is the whole reason why I work on having enough connections for different things." He told her as he pulled Keith away slightly.

"We need to talk though." He told the other werewolf who seemed disappointed that he had interrupted the conversation that he was having with Apryl though he didn't quite remember what it was.

"What? We were having a good conversation." Keith protested as he looked at his friend confused.

"I know, but I think you're invading those boundaries a little bit too much when you're not quite ready to admit the fact that you like her." Chester said with a sigh as he shook his head at the other. He would have to watch his little werewolf better so he didn't do this again in the future.

"But that isn't what I wanted to talk with you about. I wanted to make sure you're okay and you're not going to get in over your head with your feelings on this with Brian." He kept his voice low so that Apryl and Callum wouldn't be able to hear what he was saying.

Keith became rather quiet after he had asked this question and gave him a hard look when he asked this. There was a rather sad look in his eyes though despite the hard look that was on his face.

"I won't. I do remember what I told you last night so I'm not going to butt into whatever you're planning on doing anything that you need to." Keith replied.

"Don't worry about me. I'm just going to stay out unless something happens. You know the right people I think to deal with it which means it's not my place to butt in when I don't have those same options." He added on.

"You're going to remember this later?" Chester asked as he cocked his head at the other not sure that he actually was going to keep what he was saying considering his currently partly inhibited state.

"Yes I will. Now I want to get back to talking with her." Keith replied as he looked over his friend's shoulder where Apryl and Callum were still talking.

"I think that you should figure that out too." Chester said as he put his hand on his friend's shoulder.

"Right now if anything coming around is going to be one of the best times to talk with her about it. A lot is going on but maybe having someone that she can rely on like that might be helpful." Chester was surprised when his friend suddenly put his fingers over the other's lips.

"Don't think so logically about it right now. Let me enjoy this and I will figure out about it later. Nothing harmful is going on so you don't have to be so protective at this point." He told his friend as he turned to walk away from him.

Chester wasn't thrilled about this but he was caught so off guard by what the other had done that he didn't object when he went back over to talk with Apryl returning to the close position he had currently had near her.

He huffed under his breath but he knew that it wouldn't do any good to try and talk with his friend. He was going to do what he wanted to do instead of actually listening to what he had to say.

Keith was right in a way that he was doing was harmless, but at the same time it could add more confusion to the fact that neither one of them had figured out their feelings for each other and there was a lot going on that might make it hard to work through anything that happened before they determined if they wanted to be together.

Maybe he did worry too much about this kind of thing, but he had seen relationships between werewolves and wolves alike fall apart because they didn't draw those boundaries or decide how things were going to work things out and it ended up completely ruining any kind of relationships that they had.

Keith seemed to have more sense than others, but he still worried that he might mess something up since this was the first time that he had shown interest in another werewolf in this way. Prior to meeting Apryl he had always seemed far more interested in just focusing college, work, and nothing else.

"Are you worried about them?" Callum asked when he noticed the way that his friend was watching the two werewolves who were talking. At least the tension was lower than it had been before.

"I'm only worried that something will ruin this relationship before they figure out what they want to do with it." Chester replied with a frown.

"I wouldn't worry too much about it I'm sure that they will figure things out the way that we did." Callum assured his friend as he grabbed the other's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. Their relationship hadn't always been perfect the way it currently was. There had been a lot that they had to work through before they got to the current point that they were at.
