"I've just given you access to the entire hub," Gabriel responded.  "As a safety precaution, the only people who are given full access to the hub are family members.  And even then, only certain people."

"Wasn't I family before?"  I smiled.

"No," he answered with a straight face.  "I told you before.  You are not my sister.  You have never been my sister.  Your position is much higher than that as of now.  You are my wife."

I scratched my head.  "How is a wife higher in position than a sister?"

Gabriel smiled.  "My sister is my sibling and can never be anything more than my sibling."  He turned to look at me with adoring eyes.  "My wife is my life."

"Your mother never officially married my father.  She continues to retain her maiden name of Belladonna, even to this day.  She is not considered part of our immediate family even though she is treated as such by everyone."
