“It’s in your blood, and mine,” said Lexian, “we are family.”

“Family? Ha! Don't make me laugh,” Lia was furious, “the family I know is that of my mother, the sister, master Sargon, lady Diya and the entire army.” she glared at her. “So don’t you dare speak to me about family.” Lia said storming off without looking back.

Back at the drawbridge.

“Excuse me?” Sargon said.

“I’m actually not a wolf.” Lexian said as she bowed before him alongside the chief and their villagers.

“Then explain your ears.” he said to her.

“This?” she reached up and plucked off the ribbon.

“I’m a cat and my real name is Livia.”

“Well, aren't you full of surprises?” he said. “So why are you here?” he probed as his throne emerged from his shadow, he sat down and propped his chin and crossed his legs. “Surely it isn’t to pledge allegiance to me?”
