The Lifegivers

Evan snapped out of the hospital bed. His glaring eyes looked here and there. There were several people around. One of them is a scientist who is operating a tool shaped like a giant doughnut.

Evan's breath was heaving, and his heart was beating so fast that he was still in shock from what had happened. The changes are happening so fast.

"Relax, Evan. You're safe." Anderson said.

Evan looked at his mentor with narrowed eyes. The young man's brain has not been able to interpret what happened correctly.

"Evan..." Fiona then hugged the young man gently. "Welcome home."

Feeling the warmth of his girlfriend's body, Evan's breath gradually returned to normal, and his heart rate decreased. His eyes began to heat up, and he finally shed tears. He hugged Fiona's body back even harder. Yes, he finally realized that he had come out of that hell.

Tony patted his son's shoulder with teary eyes. "Welcome back, damn child."
