In Touch

I kept eye contact with William's reincarnation. He had his hand outstretched towards me, his phone's screen up. I don't exactly know where he is going on with this, but what I do know is that I was tired of being let down.

"What are you trying to do here, Bash?" I asked him with a blank look in my face.

Bash looked sorry, and he scratched the side of his cheek as he replied, "Give me your number, and add me on your social media."

I cocked my head, unsure if I should really do as he asked me to. What was the benefit of it? Staying in touch through wireless communication might just end up with lots of misunderstandings.

Words can always be misinterpreted, and there was no way to guess the other person's expressions and emotions with just a text.
