Four hours.

"Sooooo, I was thinking-"

"No." I interrupt Chelsea before she continues.

If she ever ever starts with 'sooo', she wants to do something crazy.

"You don't even know what I want to say."

"I know you Chels, and my answer is no." I say not looking up from my book.

We decided to have a study sesh at my house.

"C'mon Summer, please?"

"No." I still don't look up from my book.

"Whyyyyyyy? It's just a party!" She whines.

"Party?" I scoff and finally look at her. "Chelsea nothing's just a party for you. You never go to normal parties. It's either at an abandoned house, or a strip club, or in a gang's crib."

"C'mon they were fun. And besides, this one is normal."

"Remember the time you went for a party in an abandoned subway? You also told me the party was normal."

"Oh yeah." She smiles. "I remember that one, that party was lit. One of the best so far."

"Well 'that party' was dark, spooky and dangerous. God knows what was down there." I shudder.

"Trust me, the one is totally your type of normal."

"Who's throwing it?" I sit up.

"One of Austin's old bud. Just moved in and wants to throw a party."

"Are you sure that's the party?"

"Yeahhhhh. So will you go?" She asks hopefully.

"Fine. But just know if it's not normal, I'm out of there."

"Deal. Now let's get you dressed." She stands and pulls my arm towards my closet.

Three hours later, I'm dressed in a low v-cut black blouse, silver short skirt, and black open toe heels. My hair's in a sleek low ponytail and a silver purse. Chelsea's dressed in a off white off shoulder shirt dress, gold heels, a gold clutch, and her hair is tucked behind her ears.

Now she's driving and we are on our way to this so called party.

"Chelsea?"

"Hmm?"

"Where does this guy live?" I ask her and she chuckles lightly.

"Didn't I tell you?"

Oh Lord.

"Chelsea please don't-"

"Fine. He lives at Feeblelake."

"Feeblelake?! Dude that place is like four hours away!"

"I know and I'm sorry."

"Why didn't you tell me?!"

"You wouldn't go with me."

True to that.

I wouldn't want to go for a four hour journey with her at night.

"It's crazy! You said the party's going to be normal."

"It is normal, it's just the process that's crazy." She sighs and I sigh. "Don't worry, it's going to be fun trust me. And besides, Jaxon's going to be there." She adds and I glare at her

"Don't bring Jaxon into this."

"I'm sorry." The ride becomes quiet.

Feeblelake is a small town just right outside of the city. And the journey, four hours long.

She's been driving for a while now and I decided to speak up.

"How are we going to get back home?" I ask her just as we enter the town

"We are sleeping over."

"What?"

"We'd be drunk and stupid. Who'd want to drive?"

"I do not like this." I mutter.

"I'm sorry. I just didn't want to go alone."

"You could have stayed at home. With me."

"I'm sorry. Look we are here." She says and I see the house decorated with party lights and loud music.

"Does this guy live alone?"

"His parents are out for the week."

"Great." I roll eyes.

She parks her car and we both get down.

"Trust me, it's going to be great!" She side hugs me.

Two hours, three bottles of beer, and one drunk best friend later, I was bored.

To make it better, Jaxon didn't show up. According to Austin, he said he was to lazy to attend a party four hours away.

"Chelsea's drunk and probably having fun somewhere else, Austin's skinny-dipping in the pool, and I'm with his phone looking for Jaxon's number.

I know it's wrong, but I'm just so boreddddd.

I find his number and hit dial.

He picks on the fifth ring.

"Dude what?" His voice sounds tired like he just woke up.

"I'm so sorry to disturb you but I'm just so bored. Chelsea's somewhere, Austin's skinny-dipping and I'm all alone." I say in a rush and the line goes quiet.

"Summer?"

"Hiiiiiii." I smile.

I think the alcohol is starting to kick in.

I walk out of the loud house and unto the porch.

"What are you doing with Austin's phone?"

"Stole it." I whisper.

"Why do you sound so proud?"

"Because I am." I shrug. "It was a feat to get it."

"Uh-huh." I chuckles and the line goes quiet.

"I was wondering," I began."I know you don't want to come for the party and all that, but I was wondering if you could come pick me up?"

At first he didn't talk, so I thought he was going to disagree.

"Its okay if-"

"Are you in Feeblelake?" He asks.

"Yeah?"

"I'll see you in four hours." He says and I smile.

"See you." I hang up and walk back inside.

That's when I witness a horrible touchdown happen.

Austin's arguing with another guy in the living room, when suddenly, the guy picks Austin up and slams his back on the glass table so hard, the table breaks and he goes unconscious.

Everything stops. Music, people, and even time.

I swear I heard a bone snap.

A second later, I hear an ear piercing scream from Chelsea.
