Sometimes, I wish I didn't.

"So you are telling me you almost got yourself killed just because the guy bumped into you?!" Chelsea shouts at Austin.

After Chelsea's ear-piercing scream, someone called 911. Austin was rushed to the hospital, the guy got arrested, and I had to call Jaxon to meet us at the hospital.

Five hours later, Austin had a stitch in the back of his head, and Chelsea was giving him a piece of her mind.

"Babe, the doctor just had a look at my head, I don't want him looking at my ear too."

"This is no time for jokes! I could have lost you!"

"She's mad at him isn't she?" Jaxon asks beside me.

"Very." I nod.

"But you didn't. You didn't lose me babe. I'm still here. I promise, you'll never lose me okay?"

"You can't be sure of that." She folds her arms together.

"No one or nothing is getting this tiger." He boasts and Chelsea shakes her head.

"You spoilt brat."

"But you love him." Austin winks.

"Sometimes, I wish I didn't." She says and walks out.

"She's mad at me isn't she?" He asks after a second.

"Yep." I nod.

"The guy didn't bump into you did he?" Jaxon asks and Austin shakes his head.

"He didn't bump into you?" I asked again.

"I was actually the one who provoked him. Told him I fucked his sister."

"John?" Jaxon asks again and Austin nods.

"Did you?" I ask Austin and he looks at me confused. "Fuck his sister?"

"Nope. Just said it to irk him."

"Why?"

"Because Austin had lost a bet to him." This time, Jaxon spoke up.

"What bet?" I ask.

"You don't want to know." Austin says and Jaxon chuckles.

"Then why didn't you tell Chelsea?"

"She'd chop off my head. She already thinks he bumped into me and see how mad she is."

"True." I nod. "I better go see what she's up to." I start to walk towards the door.

"Tell her I'm sorry and I love her okay?"

"That's your job." I say and walk out.

I see Chelsea getting coffee at the waiting area.

"Hey." I smile when I reach her side.

"Hi." She replies as she takes a sip from her coffee and we both sit down.

"You mad at him?"

"Not really. Just tired." She sighs.

"So much for a normal party." I say and she laughs.

"What was I thinking by coming here?"

"Tried to talk you out of it but you didn't listen."

"But instead I talked you into it and see where we are." She chuckles.

"Wanna go home?" I ask and she nods.

"Yes please."

We both stand and Jaxon walks in.

"The doctor said he can go home in a few hours."

"That's great." I smile. "Well, I'm going to drive us home." We start to walk towards the exit.

"Why? You are not waiting for his discharge?" Jaxon asks and I shake my head.

"Chelsea's tired and so am I."

"Them let me drive you both home."

"And who's gonna drive Austin?" I ask.

"He can call his driver." He says and I shake my head.

"It's alright. We all came by different cars so it's fine." By this time, we've reached Chelsea's car.

"I don't like you driving alone at night."

"It's five thirty in the morning Jaxon. It's fine, we'll be fine." I say and he sighs

"Call me when you get home?"

"Don't have your number."

"Then I'll call you in three hours."

"I wouldn't have reached home yet." He sighs again.

"Then four."

"Call me in five." I say and he nods.

"Okay."

He opens the car door for me and I roll my eyes.

"You didn't have to." I say as I get in.

"I wanted to." He shrugs and closes the door.

"Bye." I wave.

"Call you later." I nod. "Bye Chelsea." He waves at her

"See ya." She waves back and I drive off.

"Ah. Young love." Chelsea says with content.

"Shut up."

"You're happy he's gonna call you aren't you?" Chelsea teases me.

"Shut up." I smile.
