We were eating at the cafeteria and it was a damn miracle that our table was extra quiet today. It must be because of the effect of alcohol.

After I got into a fight last night, Reinier's friend lends us one of their room to get my beaten ass treated. When I said that I would be in big trouble after the fight, I wasn't kidding. Before treating my bleeding lips and putting ice on a few bruises on my face, Reinier and Gwynette went from being students to wrestlers. God, I was so beaten up yesterday, by both liquors and them. My body felt so heavy. If only we don't have exams for today, I'd probably stay at the house and lay down all day on my bed.

Our heads were on top of the table. No one bothered to eat. Gwynette groaned, "Fuck, my head's killing me." We laughed weakly.

"Reinier!" We lift our heads up even though we were not him.

He groaned and yelled, "What?" When he turned around to face the guy who called him, his expression suddenly changed. He became serious in a second.

It was his ex.

Jake lifts up his upper lip, showing us his white teeth. He laughed which made my friend rolled his eyes.

"Shut up, Jake," Piolo replied, even though the young man hasn't said anything at all.

He turned his attention on Piolo, who puts his head back down on top of the table to continue his sleeping session.

Jake then went beside Piolo and put his arm around him, "Oh, the boyfriend. I see, you're still gay, huh?" He was talking to Reinier.

Gwynette and I instinctively rolled our eyes. We stared at each other and mouthed at the same time, "Homophobic."

Piolo looked up to face Jake who was having fun of teasing Reinier. "You're his ex, right? So, I guess you know what that means." Then he smirked and stood up to move closer to Reinier.

I cut off their conversation before the atmosphere gets serious and they end up in a fight. "Get the fuck out of here."

He scoffed and was about to say something when Gwynette cuts him off, "Yeah. We don't welcome homophobic shit here."

The guy left with his eyes rolling whilst us laughing. That's what you get for messing with me and my friends.
