Meeting with a Asgardian

"This should be your classing schedule and….." The women in the office looked at the printed paper, before passing it to the Orion.

"You just have a class, just fifteen minutes in. You must hurry over to it.

If you can't find the lecture room, ask students. Okay, have a nice day. "

Orion took his timetable for the courses he had taken. He wanted to check them out to carry out a detailed plan, but as she reminded him of the present class. He decided to hurry.

He shoved the paper into his backpack and after greeting goodbye went outside. He opened the door to step outside, but as he stepped he froze in his place.

He was suddenly transported to somewhere else entirely. Instead of the outside of the Office, he found himself in the wide foyer, tiled of white marble everywhere. He hastily turned back but as expected the door from where he arrived vanished.

He swallowed as he gathered his wits to walk forward. The entire Foyer was empty from inside only white marble floors and walls which were ogling him.

His mind was abuzz with thoughts, what is it now? Interim facet world? But that should be the same location that is university.

It is definitely not the university, more like an ancient roman hall or something.

He decided to call out,

"Excuse me, ....?

Anybody here? "

He didn't know what he was expecting by yelling like this but suddenly he heard the loud voice back.

"Oh! My apologies for summoning you, without any prior message. "

He shuffled to one side in surprise, to the proximity of the voice from his location. He turned back to see a young Handsome blond hair man standing behind him.

He was dressed in white simple robes with his semi - length blond hair and blue eyes further enhancing his charm. His body was also draped in some minor armor-like hand guards and leg guards.

He was tall and muscled but the mild smile on his face was an indicator that he was not used to smiling much. He was only smiling to reduce the hostility of Orion.

He has felt it before. If earlier stepping into this auditorium he had some doubts then after his appearance, he was now pretty much sure of his feelings. He was a God.

Which one he didn't know but he was getting some sense of magic feelings which he earlier gets from his short visit to Anubis and Hercules. He blinked his eyes and walked forward,

"Don't fear me. I am Vali, son of Odin and brother of Thor from the realm of Asgard. I am here to talk with you about something important. "

Odin? Odin! The Norse God. It finally clicked in Orion's mind who he was. He had read about him in some vague stories.

He was a legend in Norse mythology. He defeated the wolf son of Loki and helped in its capture. He even defeated Loki in a fair battle, proving his status as an esteemed warrior.

He was the son of Odin, a warrior sired by him to take revenge on Odin for the slaying of his son. He was only one day old when he killed the two sons of Loki and entrapped him in forever imprisonment dealing with his crimes.

"Hmm….Hello?"

The blond man chuckled and waved his hand,

"No need to be polite. I am well versed in the casual culture of nowadays. You can simply call me Vali. "

"Okay, I guess….. " Orion was relieved at least he is reasonable to talk.

"Good, so now on the matter of why I am here. It is because of a warning.

I can't tell you much but someone from the side of Loki, his champion, is coming for you. So you should be cautious.

I am here in this country too because of this matter but I can't actively protect you but I will help you because Loki is evil and as the son of All-father Odin, I must foil his evil plans. "

Orion expected Panic to appear in his mind after his warning but was kind of amused that he was feeling nothing, only a little numbness.

The frequent events from the past week, including several upheavals and warnings he had pretty much lost his ability to feel panic. That's why when Ai mentioned that he could be dragged into the fight by young mages, he was not even least bothered.

His bar of warnings and cautions were raised to Death threats and anything below it was not worthy of his attention.

"Thanks for your warning, Vali. I will keep it in my mind. " suddenly a random idea got stuck in his mind. He couldn't seem to find any downsides to it so he decided to go with it.

Vali was a friendly God, he even came so far as to simply warn me. Maybe….he will be okay to offer me a contract for his powers. Although he didn't know which domain comes under him, anything is better than nothing, right.

"Umm….Vali. If you don't mind, perhaps you...could offer me a contract for powers. Only if it is fine with you. "

Vali mysteriously smiled at him and shook his head,

"Your father must have thought something for you. I don't think I want to interfere with his plans. He had a pretty solid reputation in Asgard too.

Don't worry if worst comes to worst, I will take you under my wing. But you should now test will not be easy for borrowing powers of God of Vengeance. "

Orion bobbed his head to his statement. He was confused, his father is even famous to Asgard.

He had plans for me. Suddenly, all possible threats came to his mind.

What if these all people are right in killing me. My father had some weird plans for me even after his death. Isn't that the very reason, the whole community wants to get rid of me?

He suddenly felt the complications of this minor statement were too much to process. What should he do? Should he tell this to Asahi?

No, he doesn't need to know. Otherwise, it will make the future decision of abandoning me more certain. I should probably hold on, I don't believe he will do something to harm his child.

Thought Orion as the memory of his father playing with came to his mind. He forcefully shoved it to the back of his mind. He does not want to deal with these right now.

Vali saw him be lost in his thoughts, he chuckled at the fact of the terrible concentration of humans nowadays. They were getting lost in their mind even in the presence of himself.

But he decided to end the meeting here. He had many tasks in hand, which he had to accomplish his goal. For a brief movement, his eyes flashed in serious emotion as he glimpsed at Orion then snapped his fingers to end the summons.

To his surprise, Orion suddenly felt himself back in the corridor outside the office. He checked the time and noticed that it was almost half time for the class, he decided to bunk it and attend another lecture which was one hour later.

He checked his schedule to find it was a mandatory course for Literature and languages. He began to walk towards his class slowly.

Upon finding the correct room, as he was going to enter he bumped with a random dude who was rushing inside. He turned to see who he was to notice a young man with black short hair and specs.

"Sorry, sorry dude. I was in a rush. Are you fine?"
