Elahemé (Mae) loved the life she shared with her husband, Jack and their dog, Koobs. As Pyde went with Baas to his house, Nimaro took Mae and Jasper down to the Den. He had arranged for Mae to stay in one of the private chambers next to the Nursery pools, so that she could be close to Nhaju, even though they weren't expecting her for a few more days.

"I didn't think you'd be the one to kick me out," Mae jested to Nimaro once Jasper had run back to his friends.

"I didn't wish to presume and thought this to be more comfortable for us both. It is better this way for Nhaju also. She should know that you've made her your priority."
