25. Take The Little Girl

Anastasya still covers her ears with pillows. She did not want to hear what her stepmother out there was doing with a guy.

There was a knock on the door. The stepmother shouted while banging the door of Anastasya's room. She told Anastasya to come out but, the little girl did not want to.

The little girl chose to keep the door locked instead of going out and seeing the stepmother playing with a man. She does not know which other man was brought by the stepmother.

"Open the door, stupid girl!" shrieked the stepmother while banging the door of Anastasya's room.

Anastasya tried not to be afraid this time. She kept covering her head with a pillow, hoping that the stepmother would stop screaming and banging on the door.

The stepmother's scream stopped, but there was a cry that was so painful. Anastasya opened the pillow covering her head. She wanted to know what was happening out there.

Once again, there was the voice of the man who was with his stepmother. However, now there was no sound of the screams of the man or the stepmother.

Anastasya walked closer to the door, her hands trying to grab the doorknob, and then opened it. Her head was looking down because her feet felt that she was stepping on something very wet. Her two eyes widened when she saw the fresh blood on the floor.

She saw a werewolf who was eating the body of her stepmother. Seeing all that happened made her unable to move but, he looked to the left as her sword was there.

In the castle, Sergei was sitting on the sofa he used to sit on. He enjoyed a cigar and a glass of fresh blood.

Sergei thought of the little girl again. He called Edik to pick up the little girl. A few moments later, Edik arrived at his room.

"My lord, do you need my help?" Edik asked Sergei.

"Bring that little girl here! I want him to be in this castle under my protection and, you will train him!" Sergei ordered Edik.

Edik nodded and, then he bent and left Sergei's room. He had already found out about the little girl because the master was interested in the little girl.

"Where are you going?" asked Ivan, who saw Edik walking out of the castle.

"Picking up the little girl," He replied briefly and then ran as fast as he could to Anastasya's house.

Ivan, who did not want to miss the information, ran after Edik, who had already left. He also wanted to know the little girl who made the Lord want to protect him.

Because it is rare for the Lord to protect a human, he thought that the little girl had something other humans did not have.

"Why are you following me?" Edik asked Ivan, who had run beside him.

"I want to see that girl," He replied as he kept running.

Edik smells werewolves as well as Ivan. They sped up their run and arrived at Anastasya's house.

"The werewolf is here," Ivan said as he raised his fangs.

"We're in!" said Edik while ordering Ivan.

The two of them opened the door of Anastasya's house, thinking about killing the werewolves. However, they were shocked when they saw a little girl covered in blood.

In the little girl's hand was a sword and, they recognized the blade. Edik thought that the little girl was Anastasya, whom the Lord wanted to protect.

"Interesting little girl," Ivan walked over to Anastasya.

Edik looked around the room, where two human corpses had been torn apart by werewolves. And a werewolf corpse right in front of the little girl.

"You killed him?" asked Ivan to Anastasya.

"Yes, I killed him. Who are you? " answered Anastasya and then asked back.

"My lord, told us to pick you up," replied Edik as he walked over.

Anastasya was confused by Edik's answer because remembering that the man would have someone pick her up in three days. Meanwhile, this is only one day.

"You are lying! He said he would have someone pick you up in 3 days and, now I'm only one day away!" said Anastasya.

Edik crouched down and asked if the Lord told him to pick up a little girl named Anastasya. The little girl had the sword she had given her, and it was proof that they were Sergei's envoys.

Anastasya looked at the faces of Edik and Ivan, and she wanted to see if there were similarities between the two of them and the man last night who helped her. She did not want to go with people she did not know.

Edik knows what the little girl was for looking. He took out her fangs as well as Ivan. He was seeing all that finally Anastasya believed and joined them.

"Wait a minute I want to bring something," said Anastasya to Edik and then walked to her room.

Ivan looked around this room which already smelled of human and werewolf blood. He was sure that the other werewolves would arrive at this house soon.

"We have to get out of here immediately!" Edik said to Anastasya, who just came out.

"I want to change clothes first," said Anastasya, who only took a photo from her room.

"No need!" Ivan said while carrying Anastasya and then running as fast as possible.

Edik followed Ivan, who was running carrying Anastasya. He ran while protecting the little girl.

There was an unmistakable werewolf howl. Ivan accelerated his run and could not fight when Anastasya was there.

Even though he knew that this little girl was not an ordinary human, he was afraid that the werewolf would want her. Because the Lord also wants this little girl.

"We have to avoid them! I can't right now!" Ivan said to Edik.

Edik knows why Ivan said that because at this time, there was this little girl. He has a plan to outwit the werewolves.

"Take off the little girl's clothes!" Edik ordered Ivan.

Ivan stopped running and then lowered Anastasya. He looked at the little girl and asked permission to take off her clothes.

"I can take it off myself," Anastasya said.

Anastasya took off her clothes that were full of werewolf blood. She did not care about her body that was not wearing any clothes.

"Use this!" Edik orders to Anastasya.

Ivan saw Edik take off the coat he used to wear and give it to the little girl. He smiled because this had not happened in hundreds of years.

"Don't smile! Quickly take him to the castle. I will outwit them!" Edik said to Ivan in a commanding tone.

"I am waiting for you!" Ivan said while carrying Anastasya then switched back.

Edik immediately ran in a different direction from Ivan, he heard the werewolf howl again, and it became more apparent. He tried to run with all his strength, tore off Anastasya's clothes, and threw them in two different directions.
