Life of a Favorite
While walking down the street towards my first destination, I'd noticed that the streets of the capital greatly changed since the descent of the Gods.
It became lively compared before that the streets is so quiet because the citizen is afraid that they might anger the dictator Emperor and lesd them to their demise.
It is also noticeable that a lots of vendors set up their stall all across the streets towards the tower.
"Oy Aziel!"
Someone shouted my name while I was wondering the streets and enjoying the lively scenery here.
As soon as I turned my head towards the direction of the voice, my tears almost fell as soon the owner of the voice entered my vision.
"I'd never thought that I will see you here brother!, How is our sisters and brother in the orphanage? Are they eating well?"
Yes, that is my tie brother back from the orphanage, none other than Ares, one of the Favorite Candidate of God Bishamonten.
"Brother!"
All I managed to answer to him was calling him brother.
Even though we are not biogically related, he was still a real brother to me. He taught me mostly about everything. In terms to fight and to survive.
"Yes brother, we are doing well back in the orphanage, we receive a lots of donation from the capital after you leave. I feel sorry for you since you didn't experience that with us."
Just a month after he leave us to search for his Fate here in the Tower, and became a Favorite, we experience a luxury back in the orphanage, unlike before that we only ate there atleast twice a day since there were so many war orphan like us that took shelter in that orphanage.
"That's good to hear! Anyway what are you doing here in the middle of the streets? Don't tell me you also…."
Before he even finished his sentence, I showed him the crest from the Goddess Frigg's camp.
"Your guess is right brother, I do also become a Favorite as well like you, so maybe atleast, if I was fortunate enough to finish the tower first, maybe, our lifelong wishes will be granted."

He said while shouting, as if he almost hit me using his fist, but he stop halfway.
Maybe he thought that It might injured me or might kill me since the diffirence in our power right now is big.
"But brother, you know that during our training back in the orphanage, that we bet that whoever finish the tower first will do whatever the winner wants right?"
"But I told you in the letter, it is diffirent this time! Before, we don't even know what is in inside the doors of thrtower, but after I witness it, I cannot afford anymore to let you enter the door as well"
He said with furrowed brows.
"How about this one Aziel, get out from here, and I promise you, the next time I visit you to the orphanage, I will do anything you wish for, so just go home and stay with our brothers and sisters.
" I'm sorry brother, but I cannot do that anymore. You know how much I wish to eliminate the Existence of Galdurium in this…"
"Shut up Aziel!"
He whispered while holding my mouth to keep me from speaking.
"Come here with me, I have to tell you something, If I cannot stop you anymore to continue this journey, there is something that you need know before formally entering the tower."
After he said that, he walked straight towards whereever he is bringing. I don't know why he interrupt me earlier and become serious like this.
After more than 10 minutes of walking, we managed to arrived at our destination, it seems to be his own personal house inside the capital.
As far as I know, that the Favorite who have managed to reached the 10th door already is now living in luxury here compared to other candidate who are still at 9th door below.
I know that my brother is not that week for not be able to complete his 10th door during his almost 3 years stay here. I wonder why is he living in a small place like this.
Maybd I'll check later his status, I will try to directly have a physical contact with him later inside his place.
"Have a sit Aziel, I'm sorry if I cannot serve you anything this time, I wasn't able to replenish my supplies here since I was barely here because of the things I need to do in the camp,. Anyway, which do you prefer, cola? Coffee? or tea?"

While he was making coffee, I looked around inside and saw that this place was almost nothing since he didn't have anything valuable here, except our group picture together back then in the orphanage.
"Wow! Brother how you manage to enlarge our picture back in the orphanage? It feels like yesterday, we are still so young here, hehe"
I said while looking at the 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide photo hanging in the middle of his house.
"With the technology here inside the capital, it is not new to resize the old photo as well as to enhanced it, you know you guys are my inspiration to keep going that's why I asked a friend of mine from the camp to enlarge it for me. Here take your coffee."
He said while handing the coffee to me.
That very same moment our skin touched together since he removed his gauntlet to make our coffee, a notification instantly ring and popped up in front of my face.

He said in a serious tone.
