"Hey Angel, do you know where those tremors are coming from?" I asked out loud to my new friend who had actual visual over the place. There was something that shook the ground earlier but I didn't actually see anything.
'I'm picking up something large... heading towards your direction.'
"Large?...Oh." I questioned until I turned my head up to the sky.
Have you ever just stopped for a moment to think to yourself 'How has my life gotten to this point?'
Well that's what I'm thinking about right now.
"Sir, they seem to have a giant mech." A tactical droid casually pointed out.
"Thank you for pointing out the obvious." I retorted with an eye roll
"You are welcome sir!"

The skyscraper sized war machine landed on the ground, crushing everything beneath it's tracks. It looked like if a tank and a giant titan sized mech had a baby. It had the torso of a humanoid mech with arms for cannons. Actually it's head was a cannon too, all supported by it's bottom frame which was basically a tank.
*ROAR sfx* Wave was wondering if there was an actual button for roaring or if they had an infantile AI that mimicked a beast.
"Oh shit." Wave said out loud as he noticed the giant barrel that was it's head charge up with a purple light.
*BOOM* a massive eruption of purple light followed the ensuing blast, engulfing both droids and humans.
When the dust settled, only the purple husks of whatever was standing remained. The ground was practically a courtyard of petrified purple statues of droids and vladof soldiers alike.
'Wave? Wave are you alright?!' Angel's concerned voice echoed as she was worried for her new friend. She then spotted a purple statue where he was once standing, causing her mind to race. 'WAVE!!'
"Yeah, I'm alright. What's up?" he casually responded sipping on his soda, incredibly far from the actual blast radius.
'You... how did you survive that?' The siren asked incredulously as she moved her satellite screen towards him.
"Oh, well I dodged." He said as if it was obvious.
'...How? There's a purple husk of you at the location where you were standing!'
"Well after my uncle babysat me, I have gained the uncanny ability to move really, really fast whenever I feel like/realize my life is in immediate danger. Doesn't work when I don't expect it though." He said with some nostalgia and trauma.
A flashback appeared showing Wave about to be engulfed by the blast, only for everything to slow down all of a sudden. He then proceeded to eat a meal, enjoy a sun tan, and play some phone games before constructing a life-like dummy of himself. After finishing, he then ran away at insane speeds to dodge the blast. Overall his Uncle Gold would be proud.
'But, why did you even leave a fake body?' she asked unsure of the point.
"Well because I wanted to have fun, you should try it sometimes." he rolled his eyes.
'I'm locked inside of a hyperion chamber, I don't think there is much fun to be had.' Spying on people tends to get stale after the first couple months.
"Well not with that attitude there's not, tell you what. We'll have a movie night! I'll get some popcorn and drinks, make it a whole thing after this!" He declared despite the girl being skeptical of such a thing.
"So you're still standing, Aversis dog!" Ivan's voice sounded out from the echo coms on Wave's receiver.
"Impressive toy you got there. We have some ourselves but my boss didn't authorize me to use them." Wave responded over the echonet. He was honestly impressed, and a bit jealous because they didn't actually have a giant Mech to have an ultimate smackdown.
"This 'toy' is the culmination of Vladof glory! You will be crushed under our superior firepower!" The man boasted, leaving the machine to turn towards him.
[Master Wave, I see you've pressed the 'help' button. Does this mean to say you've given up?] Onyx's voice sounded out.
"Yep, honestly I can't really think of a way to deal with this using only droids. Maybe if I still had the ship I could have rammed into it, but I'm sort of out of options." Wave sighed in disappointment as he was supposed to do this without Onyx's support.
[Currently there are 82,941 droids still operational. I would also like to inform you that Vladof has recently called back their troops on Sercannus-3. They are heading back here at this moment.]
"Well shit." he muttered out. They were already outnumbered, if another army came back, they'd be attacked from the ground and from space.
"How much more time does Amber need?" he asked. Ultimately he beieved his sister just wanted him to stall for time since she never seemed worried about him winning
[She has responded with 15 minutes]
"Alright, order all remaining droids to spread out and fall back slowly." he ordered as he didn't want the rest of them to get caught in another blast.
Stalling for 15 minutes should be easy

"You... you bitch! How did you get in here!?" Ivan backed away from the girl with his rifle raised.
His closest aides were knocked out, trapped beneath piles of pages as the Aversis CEO had appeared out of nowhere in a burst of scattered paper in the room.
*BANG* gunshots rang out, however all the bullets could hit were floating pages. Ivan couldn't understand how these falling pieces of papers were blocking bullets. Obviously Ivan couldn't understand as he had no knowledge of magecraft. He knew of sirens with their Alien powers but the girl obviously wasn't a siren.
"Gah!" Ivan grunted out as a black lightsaber cut straight through his gun. The absurdly fast slash had caused him to fall on his back.
Amber Aversis stood over the Vladof CEO with eyes that unnerved him to his core. "I told you I would be coming for you personally. But while I'm here I might as well advertise a little. Besides I told my little brother to give me 15 minutes." She smiled at the Vladof CEO revealing shark like teeth.
"W-What the hell are you!?" Ivan asked with an undertone of fear in his voice.
She tilted her head at that. "Me? I'm many things. But to you I'll be the source of all your future nightmares." Her violet eyes glowed in the dark as more scattered pages covered the walls, blocking out any source of light. A few pages glowed into a formation before shifting into various sharp tools. All of a sudden, Ivan found himself strapped onto an operating table.
"Don't worry, I'm a professional which means I have standards. You'll survive this, I'll make sure of it." She assured with confidence before making the first incision.
"Now let's see what makes you tick."
∞
"Hah! Can't get me when I'm on your head now can you!?" Wave laughed maniacally as the giant war machine was unable to do anything to him as he stood on it's head. Who would have thought that Vladof scientists had never thought of a contingency for if someone were to get on top of it's head?
For whatever reason, Ivan stopped talking. It was weird, but he guessed that the giant mech was either controlled by people inside or it was an AI.
However considering that Angel had told him that there seemed to be sealed hatches around it's body, he guessed there were people inside. All of a sudden an idea just popped into his head as a grin formed on his face.
"Onyx, you said you can hack into anything right?" he remembered Onyx claiming that his father had used to use him for anything tech related.
[I have indeed claimed that, although some things may take more time than others.] It stated with some noticable pride in it's voice.
"Can you open one of the hatches for me then?" He didn't need Onyx to take control of the whole thing, just opening a door would be good.
[Done.]
∞
*BOOM* The door in front of me exploded after I shot a rocket at it... and it's still standing. Huh, sturdy material.
"Uh, can you open that too please?" I asked my invisible butler.
[Don't you have that sword your mother gave you?]
"I think of it more like a key, and to be honest dad kinda ruined the coolness of swords for me. It just doesn't feel fun for me anymore." I scratched my head with a sigh. I could actually take on the giant Mech, but I just don't find much enjoyment from using anything sword related anymore. It was why I liked trying different equipment that the scientists supplied me with.
The door hissed open the next moment.
"What!?" the voices of some random cried out in disbelief
"How did he get in!?" came from another random dude in the room. I decided to just shoot them with my trusty A-Tech shotgun. Can never go wrong with a good ol shotgun.
"HELLOOO. This is a hostile take over!" I declared despite them being dead already.
I looked around for a moment with a brief moment of nerdgasm. "Ooohhh, what's this?" I ran over to the controls and slammed my hand down on a giant red button.
[WARNING: SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE INITIATED. ONE MINUTE UNTIL SELF DESTRUCTION.]
"WHO THE HELL ACTUALLY INSTALLS A SELF DESTRUCT BUTTON!?" I cried out indignantly in disbelief. Seriously! Who's bright idea was it to just have a giant button that could accidentally be pushed, be the button that destroys something as awesome as this!?
[Perhaps you should begin running, Master Wave.] Onyx suggested.
"MY DREAM OF PILOTING A GIANT MECH IS RUINED!" I cried tears of despair as I ran towards the exit.

'Urrgh-what the hell happened..?' Moze thought as she climbed out of the rubble of rocks. Luckily she only had some head trauma after the canyon collapsed.
"This is Second Class Gunner Moze, can anyone hear me?" She called out to the rest of the squad to see if anyone was still alive.
After a moment of no response, she moved her Iron Bear out towards the direction of the base. She was half expecting to fight through a sea of clankers, but what greeted her caused her to reel in shock.
'What the hell happened?' Moze thought to herself as she gazed out onto the former battlefield that was now filled with petrified purple husks of both droids and humans.
Another explosion of purple light filled her vision in the distance as she found the cause. A giant mech, obviously of Vladof design judging by the Vladof symbol on the barrels. After the purple light died down, she saw even more droids and humans alike petrified.
'Motherf*ckers aren't even trying to be subtle.' She cursed realizing the top brass aren't even trying to hide the fact that they don't give a damn about offing their own people.
*BOOM* However to her and everyone else's surprise, the collosal war machine actually exploded the next moment. The ground shook as the purple husks collapsed and broke to pieces.
*STATIC sfx* After the dust settled everyone on the battlefield turned to a large screen projector in the sky. It showed a slightly disturbing sight involving the Aversis Tech CEO standing over Ivan Vladof who was strapped onto an operating table.
He looked worst for wear as his chest was heaving, visibly rising and falling displaying his current fatigue of whatever ordeal he had gone through. There was large splotches of blood all around him, oddly enough he didn't seem to have any visible wounds.
"You know, when people ask me why they should buy an A-Tech gun when they could buy a gun from any other manufacturer for 5x cheaper. I explain to them that they aren't getting their money's worth." Amber Aversis began with a business smile, completely ignoring the horrifying scene around her.
"You see, our company prides itself on being top of the line with weapons, whether it be the amount of damage you could dish out, the baddass way it looks or even just the way it feels."
"You see all our weapons automatically feature it's own source of ammo regeneration, which means you'll never have to waste your money on ammo again!"
"Which means, we have more time to focus on the quality of possible attachments that would come with it!" She took out a pistol with a blade attached to it. "This A-Tech Punisher series handgun comes with it's own mono-molecular blade. WHICH MEANS!" She brought it down in a quick motion, completely amputating Ivan's arm in one motion.
"UUURRRRRRRGGGHHH!" Ivan's muffled screams tried to escape his gag
"So get yourself an A-Tech. It's the only gun you'll ever need!" She smiled joyfully despite the horrifying amount of blood coming out of Ivan's arm.
'Well, I'm quitting.' Moze decided as she turned around in her Iron Bear and silently left
And with that the corporate war between Aversis Tech and Vladof came to a close.
