Chapter 16: The Reunion

The sun began to chase the darkness from the sky, but I didn’t notice. The birds began to chirp their morning song, but I didn’t notice. The alarm clock downstairs chimed 5am but again I didn’t notice. I was bent over my laptop sending the last job application of the night.

My fingers ached from the last 9 hours of solid typing and my eyes burned with the bright beams of light from the laptop screen. This, I noticed. I was exhausted after applying for no less than twenty to thirty part time positions around Bloomsbury. I had focused my search within a two-mile radius of the museum, so that I was able to spend some time with Vazar.
