Hannah is a young British-Pakistani girl living in East London. Her strict household makes it difficult for her to escape from the pressure of being a good daughter. One such pressure leads her on a fairy-tale romance with a guy she meets at the British Museum. He ticks all the boxes except one. He isn't human. He belongs to the realm of Jinns.
Hannah soon discovers the guy she's falling in love with is a prisoner, bound to an ancient vase for 1000 years for a crime that wasn't entirely his fault. To release the love of her life from his sentence, Hannah must embark on a dangerous journey that will not only break her away from her own family but will also attract the attention of entities in the Jinn world that should never have learned how far a human will go to save the Jinn she loves.
Love the book, it's written in a way that can make someone continue reading the book, i never read a book that involved a relationship between a human and a jinn that why it was exciting and interesting, I highly recommend reading this book 😩💯!!

What a unique story! The book took my breath away. The connection between the humans and jinns and the romance was captivating. Every time I had to stop reading, I couldn’t wait to continue. It’s so well written. I would really recommend it to anyone who really wants to experience a class read.
Such a well thought story not only compromising romance but also describing the rich british asian cultures as well as the details about a supernatural world. Couldnt put it down until it finished. Cant wait for more books by the author!
I was immediately reeled in with the striking pace and was at once intrigued by the development of the characters. Such a phenomenal read. The transcendence from the real world to the Jinn world is gripping. I'm totally enveloped into buying the next chapters to see how the characters fold in. Highly recommended !

I love and recommend this novel! I read it very quickly. The plot, the portrayal of characters - very single detail of the story is super engaging and I cannot wait to read more from the author!
