Hannah is a young British-Pakistani girl living in East London. Her strict household makes it difficult for her to escape from the pressure of being a good daughter. “Excuse me, I’ll be right back. I need the bathroom,” I called out to no one in particular. 


A crucial part of the plan relied on the phone call I was about to make.


Flicking through the recently called list, I found the name I was looking for. It wasn’t far down on the list, as I had called that number only last night to double-check the plan.


“Hey Han. I’m ready. Is everything okay?”


“Yes. I’ll be out shortly. Meet you the same place as we met last time.”
