Chapter 35: Their World

There were not enough words in the English language to describe what I was seeing. Jumana was spectacular. We had arrived in a forest of sorts, tall green trees cast long shadows on the grass. Behind us a waterfall of crystal-clear water descended from somewhere high above.

The dirt path under our feet glowed reddish-brown with a natural material I had never seen before. A yellow butterfly-looking creature fluttered past my face and I ducked hoping it wouldn’t fly into my hair.

“Are you okay?” Vazar asked appearing next to me.

“I’m fine. It’s just a butterfly, I think.”

“It’s actually a similar to your standard fly you have at home. That’s a bigger version of it.” Vazar stated matter-of-factly.

“Come along, no time for chit-chat.” Harry led the way down the path and we dutifully followed.
