Ice Storm

Everyone walked over to the trophy room and Moira placed the trophy of the Knight Phantom, Aria's picture was above it.

"What is going to happen now?" Jay asked.

"I don't know but there are six of us left and, four trophies we need to collect," Aph said.

"Aph Shut up! I wasn't talking to you and I never will!" Jay said in anger.

"Jay... I know you have a grudge against me because I voted Aria and now she is dead, but I can guarantee that I wasn't the only one that voted her, and we also need to work together if we want to escape this hell," Aph said.

"Your right, I am sorry Aph... can we go back to being friends?" Jay asked.

"Of course, we need to stop getting mad at each other that is what the sorceress wants, she wants us to turn against each other," Aph responded.

"We need to find the last two flowers and then we can complete the spell that the Mother ghast told us about," Thiago said. Jay looked out the window and saw snow coming down huge flakes covering the ground until everything was white.

"My god!" Jay said.

"What?" Thiago asked.

"I am wearing a damn crop top I'm going to freeze!" Jay said frustrated.

"Let's just go to the lounge maybe Julia has some coats for us... because there is no way I am going to do these challenges in this," Moira said gesturing towards her dress that split at her waist. They waddled through the snow towards the lounge and then went inside.

"I was wondering when you would show up," Julia said.

"Hi... we were wondering if you had any coats," Indah responded.

"I do, they should be in that closet," Julia said pointing at a closet. Jay opened the door, and grabbed the black coat with leopard print around the wrists and hood, Moira grabbed the white one with black flowers down the arms, Eliza grabbed the rainbow-striped one, Aph grabbed the pink one, Thiago grabbed the turquoise one with pineapples all over it, and Indah grabbed black trench coat.

"Is everyone ready to go?" Moira asked.

"Yup," Thiago said. Julia was sipping her hot cocoa.

"Hold on, Julia... where did you get that?" Jay asked.

"I made it," She said.

"I want some," Aph said.

One quick cocoa break later.

"Now that we have done that, everyone follow me outside we have a Snow Queen to face," Julia told the group. They all walked outside and Eliza grabbed a book that was stapled to a tree.

"The Snow Queen is the Sorceress's daughter she rules the tundra up north, but being a good daughter she has come down to the forest to help the Sorceress, you will need to find four crates buried in the snow and you will also need to find a trunk it will have a code. The code is in the crates split into four parts. You also have to put an end to the Snow Queen," Eliza read.

"There are some shovels over there," Moira said and she pointed to the shovels laying against a tree. They all walked over to the tree and grabbed one of the shovels.

"And now we start digging like we have a body to hide," Jay said. Indah stared at Jay. "What? It was a figure of speech." Everyone started digging, it was about five minutes before Aph found a crate.

"I found a crate!!" She screeched. Aph shoved her shovel in the crate and it split. "It says... twelve divided by three! The answer is the third number!"

"So the third number is four!" Moira yelled.

"I found a box too!" Jay screamed. He jumped on it and fell through the box. "OH, GOD!!" Thiago ran over and pulled Jay out. "Thank you."

"Your welcome... what is the math problem?" Thiago asked.

"Uh it's two times four, and it's also the fourth number," Jay said.

"So the fourth number is eight," Thiago said. Thiago tripped over a rock and hit the chest with his face.

"Well uh, I found the chest!" He shouted.

"And I think you also got a bloody nose," Indah said.

"How can you tell?" Thiago asked.

"Well, the snow around the chest is pink," Indah mentioned. Indah handed Thiago a piece of fabric. "Lean forward let it all come out so it gets over with."

"Hey, guys!! I found one!" Moira yelled. She shoved her heel into the box and it split. "The first number is twelve minus five times two."

"The third number is two then," Eliza said. It took another five to ten minutes before Eliza found the last box. "Yes!!" She pried the top of the box off with the shovel.

"What is the second number!?" Thiago asked. "It's the only one we are missing!"

"The second number is... two plus three!" Eliza said.

"Ok then... Thiago put in five," Aph said.

"Got it!" He yelled. Eliza and Moira ran over.

"What's in it?" Eliza asked.

"Um... an ice block," Thiago said.

"What are we supposed to do with that?" Moira asked.

"Wait there was a note in the bottom of the trunk," Thiago said, he picked it up and read it aloud. "To enter the Snow Queens Layer go to the basement of the house and smash the ice block in front of the door."

"Whoever is in this challenge we need to find a flower so we are one closer to completing the spell," Jay said. Eliza noticed something glittering in the snow.

"Wait..." Eliza plucked a white rose from the ground. "I found a flower!" Eliza yelled.

"Wow... well then we don't need two anymore, we just need one," Moira said. Everyone went down to the basement, Thiago stood in front of the door.

"Jay... you wanna do the honors?" He asked.

"Sure, I have a bit of pinned-up anger from the death of Aria."

"Again... I am sorry," Aph said.

"No, no, it's fine," Jay responded. Thiago handed Jay the ice block, Jay brought his arm above his head and launched the cube at the ground, it hit with a CRACK.

"Jeez, that was the most powerful chuck I have ever seen," Indah said.

"Thank you," Jay said. The door popped open.

"Everone... it is now time to vote," Julia said. They all went to the lounge and then discussed who they want to vote. Thiago, Moira, and Jay were talking on the balcony. Aph, Eliza, and Indah were talking inside.

Group 1: "Ok so I know I said I would forgive Aph, but I really don't so I want to vote her, it is her fault that Aria is dead she needs to go," Jay told them.

"Yeah, I agree we should vote Aph," Thiago said.

"I have a feeling that Aph knows that we are going to vote her and she is going to put your name in Jay," Moira said. "But ok let's vote her, at least if you get voted we know you will come back."

"Alright," Jay said.

Group 2: "Ok, who do yall think we should vote?" Eliza asked.

"I don't know," Indah said.

"I know that Jay is going to get Moira and Thiago to vote for me, so um that's who I'm going to vote," Aph said.

"Right, so should Indah and I vote for one of the other of them?" Eliza asked, "So we know one of them might die."

"Yeah I feel like that is good, I'll vote Moira," Indah said.

"So Eliza you get Thiago," Aph said.

"Everyone... it is time to vote," Julia said. Moira, Thiago, and Jay came in from the balcony and sat down at the table. "Moira you go first."

Moira voted Aph, Aph voted Jay, Thiago voted Aph, Jay voted Aph, Indah voted Moira, and Eliza voted Thiago. "I will now shuffle and draw two."

"I will hope that I don't have to go into this challenge," Jay said.

"The first one in the challenge is... Jay," Julia said.

"My god... I jinxed it," Jay said frustrated.

"Jay whatever you do... win, doesn't matter who it is against just beat them," Thiago said.

"I will try my best," Jay responded.

"The second in the challenge is... Thiago," Julia said as she pulled the final card.

"Wait... what?" He said shocked.

"Thiago I don't want to kill you," Jay said.

"Jay... it's ok we will both try our best if I die... I die," Thiago responded.

"Guys... please follow me," Julia said.

"Good luck guys!" They heard Moira yell as they were going to the basement. When Jay put the code in a waft of cold air flowed through the door, Ice was creeping up the wall when they entered, the Snow Queen was floating through the halls, a note was hanging on a rope tied to the ceiling.

Thiago's POV: I grabbed the note from the rope and read it.

"You will need to find three iceblocks scattered around the halls, find all three and acquire the gems inside, but you need four gems to survive, the fourth gem should be in one of the ice spikes. When you find all four of the gems go to Julia and tell her you found the gems, she will then hand you a pickaxe so you can get the gem in the ice. Good luck and don't freeze."

"Jay... good luck," Thiago told me. I looked at him and hugged him.

"Good luck Thiago," I said.

"Ready... Go!" Julia yelled I bolted down the hallway saw an iceblock picked it up and threw it against the wall, I got my first gem. I ran back to Julia and handed her my gem. I then saw an iceblock in the ceiling I saw a rock on the ground picked it up and chucked it at the iceblock, the rock went through the iceblock and the gem fell into my hands. I ran back to Julia handed her the gem, and then ran the way Thiago went. I then heard a CRACK and then Thiago ran down the Hallway beside me.

"Jay! This is my side go back to the other one!" He yelled at me as he passed. Once that happened I ran back to my side and took a left, after what felt like an hour... but was probably only five minutes, I finally found my last iceblock, I picked it up and chucked it at the ground it hit with an ear-splitting, CHRRK. I took the gem and ran over to Julia handed her the gem and then she gave me a pickaxe, I dragged it across the ground. It was heavy! I finally found the ice spike that had the gem, freezing my butt off I smashed the spike to smithereens and the gem hit my forehead

Thiago's POV: Jay and I hugged for the last time knowing one of us wasn't going to make it out of the basement alive.

"Ready... GO!!" Julia yelled. Jay took off down the hallway and I ran down the left hallway, I heard a smash on the other side and knew Jay got a gem already. I then heard another thing shatter meaning Jay got another gem, I then saw a block ran over to it, and chucked it against the ground. I then picked up the gem and ran to Julia. I also passed Jay on the way to Julia.

"Jay what are you doing? This is my side of the basement get back over to yours!" I yelled. I then ran over to Julia and handed her the gem I found, I was running around for so long I couldn't find any ice blocks until I heard the third and final crack of an iceblock. Meaning Jay will win and I will die. "Jay!! It was great being your friend for so many years!" I yelled across the basement.

"It was amazing being your friend too!!" He yelled back.

No POV: Jay ran over to Julia and handed her the final gem.

"Thiago I'm sorry!" He yelled tears streaming down his face. Thiago screamed. Julia handed Jay a frozen sword.

"Go back into the lair and slay the snow queen," Julia said.

Jay's POV: I ran back into the lair and saw the snow queen perfecting her new ice statue... Thiago it was a sad sight. His body frozen like a single touch could break him to pieces. His mouth wide open, screaming for help. His arms and legs sprawled out as he was running from the Snow Queen. I snuck behind the Snow Queen and plunged the sword through her stomach. She screeched in agony as she melted to the ground. Fog filled the halls and it could only mean one thing, the sorceress knows what I have done. I ran down the hallway and heard her scream.

"What have you done to my daughter!?" She turned around and stormed out of the basement. I then followed her until she turned around. "Do you know what it took to raise her? My perfect beautiful daughter!? I put more blood and sweat into her than you ever would put into anything! JUST FOR HER TO BECOME A PUDDLE OF WATER!?!?"

"I'm sorry... but I had to, she killed my best friend," I responded tears still running down my face. The sorceress then turned around and vanished. I ran back to the lounge. Once I got there I burst through the doors. "You... you," I said glaring at Aphrodite.

"Me?" She asked shocked.

"You first killed Aria... and now Thiago. You need to leave this place you need to die, I could accept your apology for killing Aria, but this I cannot accept. You have to die, we don't need you anymore," I responded. Moira looked at me and knew tension was building up between me and Aphrodite.

"Jay... can I talk to you?" Moira asked.

"Of course, let's go to the balcony," I said. Once we were on the balcony, we had a chat.

"Ok, it wasn't Aph that voted Thiago, it was Eliza. But it was Aph's idea that put him in that challenge. I do agree with you she needs to go, we have to vote her into the next challenge." We went back into the lounge.

"Anyway... I got the snow queen trophy," I said and we walked down to the trophy room, and I placed the trophy. Thiago's painting was above the snow queen's head. I placed my hand on both Thiago's and Aria's paintings. "I miss you guys."
