Decisive Flag

While Destruct sensed the fiery glare of Genocide upon him, Destruct just took a glance at the nearby desk. There, he saw the black scroll on top of the desk. Thereupon, he just sighed,

"I guess there's no need for me to interfere."

"Then, get out,"

Genocide pointed at the door.

Destruct just scoffed and he went in front of Syvil,

"Though, I have something to tell to the current harpy queen."

Syvil grabbed his sleeves tight,

"C'mon spill it!"

Destruct tapped her hand and brushed her hold on him,

"Such uncouth behavior."

Then, he pulled his collar and sleeves to remove the folds caused by Syvil,

"Nevertheless, I'm here to inform you that my expeditionary force who were heading back just noticed something odd. We saw that there was a small camp of REVELAS PESTS near your domain at the forest.

His hand brushed his hair and he continued to flap his mouth,

"Currently they are heading here now. And I am here to pick up my dear little brother."

When Sylvia and Marla heard those heavy words from Destruct, they were rinsed with worries.

Thelamia just tilted her head and tocuhed her lips as she was dumbfounded,

"Revelas?"

As for Syvil she looked down into the darkness. There after, she grinded her teeth filled with swirling flaming grudge of the damned,

"Why did they come here?!"

Then, her hands smacked the wooden desk,

"We don't have anything to offer to them for now!"

Everybody except Destruct just made a look of pity for the frustrated Syvil. While for Destruct, he kept his composure and crossed his steel-clad arms,

"I'm guessing you've already made a pact with the last rebelling nation of Revelas..."

He switched his glance at Genocide afterwards,

"Sorry my dear brother, but it seems you already lost the bargain. So let us leave before those Revelas insects cause much more trouble."

Genocide had no choice, but to agree,

"Thamy, let's go...Marla, you should come with us too. And Sylvia, please do take care."

His companions just nodded and Sylvia just bowed to bid farewell. Not much soon, Destruct, Genocide, Marla, and Thelamia were about to leave the quarters.

Suddenly, Syvil blurted out recklessly,

"PLEASE WAIT!"

Genocide, Destruct, Thelamia, and Marla paused on their tracks.

Sylvia was filled with immense shock. She witnessed her little sister pleading and crying down on the ground.

Then, Syvil ate her pride,

"T-the agreement says you'll provde security and assistance right?"

Genocide turned around and scratched the back of his own head,

"Yeah, as it is written on that agreement."

Syvil poured out more fragments of sadness and fear,

"If we accepted this agreement, will you save us from the marching Revelas right now?"

Genocide didn't reply soon. Instead, he was deciding in his thoughts, while he was scratching his own lower chin.

While for the charming, but cold Destruct, he approached her and bowed with elegance,

"Tell me, uncouth harpy queen. Why are you so afraid of the Revelas even if you already had a pact or agreement with them?"

Syvil gulped and clecnhed her fists,

"Our pact with them...isn't fair. Unlike your current proposal."

She added more gestures, while she flapped her mouth,

"They may provide security, but we must submit to their loyalty. And everytime they come here, we must always give them our resources."

Then, she looked away with a frown,

"If we failed to do so, then they'll be the ones who shall mine and harass us!"

Though, Destruct wasn't fazed and he had stopped bowing,

"That doesn't sound threatening to us."

Syvil stood up and grit her teeth. She tried to convince Destruct with her firm words,

"Can't you see?! We the harpies and eagleblades can mine without damaging the place. Thanks to our wings' restorative powers."

Genocide nodded, as he agreed with Syvil's words. Even Thelamia agreed as well,

"Yeah! Since me and Julie implemented that!"

Destruct went near Syvil's face and just gave her a cold stare,

"What are you trying to imply."

Syvil steeled her nerves and looked straight at the terrifying Destruct,

"Tell me, one of the lords of carnage. What would happen to the mines in the future? Without us, harpies' and eagleblades' abilities bestowed by the Goddesses?"

Genocide made a grin and joined-in the serious conversation,

"Okay, you caught me. If one of the mines is destroyed, then there will be less CRYSIMS to excavate and more mines will be destroyed too."

Destruct just sighed,

"Sadly, I shall not partake in this bloodbath, as I am not interested in your MINING SCHEME. Since, we can just fi

nd untouched mines elsewhere."

Afterwards, Destruct left the harpy queen's den.

Sylvia was able to breathe-in, as the one she admired the most left.

Genocide noticed that Syvil had a frown on her face, as Destruct doesn't want to cooperate. Thereupon, he approached her,

"Even if Destruct want me and theo others to leave, I'll stll cooperate with you."

Syvil had a glimpse of a smile when she heard those motivational statements,

"I see."

Thelamia and Marla sat beside Sylvia.

Thelamia observed that the conversation between Genocide and Syvil was going well. She sensed that neither of them had any ill will against each other behind their backs. More so, she noticed that Genocide was willing to cooperate. She made a heartfelt smile after that.

Though, Spheera was skeptic of its master's behavior, while she was observing Genocide,

"Hmmmmm."

Sooner or later, the conversation between Genocide and Syvil had ended. Genocide went to the three girls on the sofa. Then, he tipped his captain's hat,

"Thamy, Marla, Sylvia, I want all of you to stay here. Since things would get messy down below."

Thelamia clenched her fists eagerly,

"Hey! I can fight too!"

Genocide just made a smile and rubbed her adorable head,

"Sorry Thamy, but I can't let a Goddess like you get involved in this POLITICAL issue."

Thelamia just looked away,

"Kay, and yea i almost forgot...war is a political issue..."

Good thing this naive Goddess remembered about that.

Though, her face looked listless as she's scared of what's to come, especially in her thoughts,

"Is there some way for war to end without any bloodshed at all? Because I don't want anyone dying in a pointless fight."

Guess this Goddess is too soft and naive.

Genocide shifted his look at Marla next,

"Oh and Marla, you got those pure CRYSALIS I asked for?"

Marla gave him a piece of a glowing small crystal.

Genocide thanked her. Then, he sighed,

"Time to do this again."

He brought out another crystal from his pocket, but Thelamia saw that it was hollow inside.

His hands snapped the hollowed crystal. Then, he put the small one inside. After that, he poured water in it and covered the hollowed crystal with its other snapped piece.

Not much soon, he shook it as it was just a soda pop.

Later, Thelamia took witness that the crystal lit up bright with golden vibrance of the stars,

"Pretty!"

Marla patted Thelamia's shoulder,

"And that's how you make a simple MAGICAL CRYSALIS, our dear Goddess of creation."

There after, Thelamia was boggled in her mind,

"I'm guessing those three areas where we had gone to were involved in making this MAGICAL CRYSALIS thing."

Without any warning, Genocide tossed it to Thelamia,

"Thamy, catch!"

Thelamia caught it before it fell off to the ground. When she took a look at it it, she tilted her head as she was just dumbstruck,

"What's this thing do? Geno?"

Genocide tipped his hat,

"That thing works like a torch at present. But it can power up appliances and some things too. Try it on that fridge we brought back."

Thelamia nodded with a smile,

"Okay thanks!"

There after, all of them went outside to bid Genocide farewell. Though, Thelamia, Spheera, and Syvil were just irritated since Marla and Sylvia were acting like clingy concubbines who doesn't want their lover to leave.

Syvil blurted out, as her eyes couldn't take the odd licorice scene anymore,

"Knock it off!"

Not much soon, Sylvia and Marla stopped acting like worried partners.

Genocide looked up at the sky and he saw the eerie clouds seeping into the midnight atmosphere.

He had stopped looking at the sky and he brought out his magical flamebreaker from his enchanted pendant.

As soon as he was ready for battle, he headed out.

While he was moving away through the cliff, he waved a cool gesture behind,

"See ya soon, girls."

Later, the girls and Spheera went back to the harpy's hut.

Sylvia was on the sofa again and she was drinking brewed tea of nature. Even though, she noticed that her little sister was scanning the contract, her sister had a smile of relief. Sylvia made a smile as she was happy for her little sister as well,

"You did great there my little sis, you're truly the harpy queen now."

Syvil was flattered and just looked away while her cheeks were red,

"I had no choice to be honest."

She sighed and had smile of optimism afterwards,

"But by hearing just from your story before, I'm starting to accept that guy and the new ways of the Vampia Kingdom."

Marla and Sylvia smiled when they heard those words from Syvil.

Syvil closed her eyes,

"Though, I still have little doubts, since that other lord of carnage didn't cooperate."

Marla just told her views,

"All I could say, the queen herself is doing her best to repair the damages caused before. I don't know what the Supreme Generia and the others think of this though."

Syvil was just dumbfounded,

"Supreme Generia...their king?"

Marla and Sylvia nodded.

Sylvia made a sinister smile as she took notice of Thelamia looking at the crystal with a smile,

"It seems our Goddess of Creation is engrossed with the magical crysalis that master had given her. Ufufufufu!"

Thelamia just blushed, as she was embarassed.

Marla suggested something to Thelamia,

"Our dear Goddess of creation? Want to test it out with your fridge that you and savior Genocide had unearthed? I could feel it'll work with the crysalis you have."

Thelamia gleefully agreed,

"Sure why not!"

Thereon, all of the girls and Spheera went outside. Thelamia tried to stick the magical crysalis to the fridge. Sadly, it wasn't working. Sylvia went to Thelamia's side and asked for the crystal,

"Goddess Thelamia. If you would?"

The Goddess gave the crystal to Sylvia.

Sylvia asked everyone to stand away from her range for a few meters.

Everyone did as they were told.

As soon as the chilling gales breezed through the place, Sylvia took a deep breath.

She raised the crystal. Then, her other hand of the stars touched the crystal. She swept her hand gracefully and her hand had brought out a golden thread of magical silk.

Even though, Syvlvia's performance was short, Thelamia was amazed by it,

"Wow!"

Later on, Sylvia wrapped the golden threads at the back of the fridge and wrung it around the metal grills.

The next moment, Thelamia sensed her fridge was working, as it was making a sound,

"Oh cool! It's working!"

Even Spheera was happy,

"Yeah master! Now you can put the odd dragon steak you like!"

When Thelamia opened her fridge's swinging door, everyone felt the coldest breeze of the arctic ocean. More or less, the gales were comparable to a blizzard that could cause a frostbite.

Syvil pleaded,

"Shut it back!"

Thelamia did as she was told and she bonked her head,

"Oops sorry! Eheheheh! I forgot to turn up the heat."

Suddenly, Syvil was startled over something,

"I forgot!"

Sylvia just tilted her head,

"Hm? What is it my dear sis?"
