+32 Night ¹

Two men were sitting opposite to each other on luxurious sofa , the black sofa had a good lining with the soft feather like feel. One of the two men sitting asked curiously ,

"Rick how did you came up with the idea of Infinite? Even if it's VRMMORPG having 2 systems in one game is not even imaginable."

The person sitting opposite to each other were none other than Rick and Frank. The 2 pillars of I.G. Group , Rick took a sip of his drink and replied ,

"Frank you're one of my best friends that's why I'm telling you , till now only two people know about this that is me and Harold Rexur. What I'm going to tell you shouldn't go out of this room."

"Of course you can trust me."

"I trust you that's why I'm telling you , the core of Infinite was something I and Rexur came across during our university days. We were just stargazing that night when something fell from the sky Infront of our university nobody noticed it so we ran towards it to see what it was we saw two big blue glowing diamonds..."

After hearing Rick's story Frank was surprised at a point where he couldn't believe such thing and said ,

"S-So I-Infinite is n-not a game!?"

'What was brother thinking bringing a stranger in the Serven Family's Palace does he have no pride.'

"don't go near unless you want to get killed by her."

'Yeah yeah tell him not to come near me and not to disturb me.'

"I don't mind giving her to y-"

Just as he was to going talk about my marriage with the low level I used fireball and aimed on his face. My brother even though being a genius was simple and outgoing , he talked anything he had in his mind. But talking about my marriage with that masked low level sitting beside him.

After my brother got hit with my fireball the masked man introduced himself ,

"Hi , I'm Excess and I'm here to train with Lord Garius. I'll be in your care."

'T-Train with him!? My genius brother brought someone to train with him.'

Lord Garius was one of the most talented Noble he was known as a genius who appears once in a century. Some compared him with Mercedes Serven but he knew he was nowhere near Mercedes level. At the age of 19 he became the youngest head of a Noble Family ever seen.

My brother was powerful , powerful enough to take on 3 Noble heads at the same time. But not enough to learn Serven Swordmage Techniques , unlike me who looked up to Mercedes brother Garius looked up to the person above Mercedes.

He always thought that the reason Mercedes didn't return was because someone defeated him and killed him. He respected Mercedes but always aimed above him.

'For my brother to train the masked man must mean he's someone my brother recognises.'

But I couldn't just accept someone barging in and receiving training from my brother I didn't even knew his identity.

'Is he a retainer? or from some other Noble Family?'

"Training with brother!!! what type of training are you here for what is your class? what family are you from? is it a retainer family or some other Noble family?"

So many questions were formed in my head , my brother and sister also looked somewhat shocked seeing brother's actions but not as me. Instead of Excess brother replied ,

"Ah Excess here is from another world , his class is mage but he does physical attacks with his dagger. He's here for the Serven swordmage training."

Hearing his reply made me excited that the legend was true but that didn't last after Excess said that the world we were talking about was different world that there's. He denied to answer any questions related to his world drawing a line telling us to not ask any questions beyond that.

After that during the dinner I used total of 16 fireballs to keep my brother's mouth close.

After dinner I headed straight to my room , the dinner was livelier than I thought it would be. I thought Noble had absolute silence during their dinner but the dinner was no less than battle

It was way past midnight in the game it didn't matter much if you sleep so I was planning to do some personal training to improve my daggers skill. The dagger hand in my left hand was pretty damaged after all the monsters I killed today were hard to pierce through.

'Yeah it's pretty damaged.'

I stared at the damaged dagger in my hand and remembered of my draken daggers I couldn't find them at the shop I last time bought from. The memory of me falling from Labyrinth flashed in my head that time I was holding daggers and couldn't do anything for her.

'No no , I can't just cling to someone who is going to leave me again. I'm just doing all this to get revenge from that Dark Lord , even if she felt the same as me after seeing the real me it wouldn't last long. I just have to play Infinite.'

I used Yuki just as a motivation nothing else , the first time I met her I could see that she was the same as me. Someone like me would've just added more pain to her life.

After few minutes of checking my equipments I looked at the coins I got from the quest , even though not mentioned the quests gave coins for killing the monsters you could use real money to buy the in game money and vice versa.

I also checked the skill I got for completing my quest and as expected it was a magic skill.

'This will be useful for defense , but I've to level up fast so that I can defend against high level monsters.'

After checking in on all my items , weapon and skills I headed to the training ground. Jumping out of the window I landed in a empty space , nobody was present there except me. The targets with bunch of scratches on them some of them even destroyed , the smell of burning coal coming from the smithy near the grounds.

This game was too realistic to a point where it made me think that this game world was real world. When I was hearing the stories at dinner it really made me think that these weren't just characters coded by some system. They had a real history , real emotions , real curiosity it made me more interested in Infinite.

Snapping out of my thoughts I drew my dagger out which was on the verge to break. I planned to use this daggers till it's durability becomes zero just cause it was a low rank level and also cause I wanted to see if the dagger can be repaired after the durability reaches zero.

I started using the skill I got in the last version Weapon's Rush it was a good combo attack which helped me to get through the long fight against Mid-Garfon's. The reason I wanted to copy it was because even without the extra damage the movements of the combo were the best I could ask for my level.

I chose a big tree as my target as the skill was compatible with that kind of height. For a skill to activate it was necessary to call it's name but I didn't have weapon's rush this time so without wasting my time. I ran towards the tree and aimed at it's bottom left side from there I tried to jump to the top right side remembering the movements.

But I couldn't reach my target with my jumping power , I tried again this time I did some more leg warm up. It didn't make that much of difference , I tried again with some more warm-up for 3-4 times but still couldn't make that much of progress.

I came up with a plan to modify the combo and started rushing towards the tree. I stab my dagger in the bottom left and instead of directly aiming for the top right I aimed a little lower and stabbed my dagger in and tried to push up using the dagger. Removing my dagger from the tree I aimed for the top right this time and stabbed in my dagger.

With that the dagger in my left hand finally broke in small visible pieces and me who was holding onto it's grip fell down on my back. As I fell down I looked at the stars I didn't notice it now but the night in this world was

"Beautiful"

As I was stargazing a message popped open before me.
