"Oh yeah, lets transfer the skills first." Lu Ciel was reminded of his twelve main skills slot being occupied with nine skills. As planned, he started to transfer the manipulation skills one by one. However, when he tried to transfer the five skills that he just learned earlier, an error message popped on the notification screen.
Wind Manipulation Art can't be transferred due to the current level of the skill.
"Oh?" Lu Ciel was surprised to see that the System can get an error. With that, he tried to transfer the other four new skills yet, still the same results.
"Hmm.." Lu Ciel went to the shaded area with full of light holes as he pondered on how to go around with transferring the five new skills. As he settled himself in the shade, he though of a way and started to train his Light Manipulation Art. "Okay, lets try this."
After a few minutes, Lu Ciel was able to level up the Light Manipulation Art [Lvl 1]. "Right, lets try to transfer this skill."
Light Manipulation Art [Main Skill] has been transferred Subskill.
"Excellent!" Lu Ciel exclaimed in delight . "So you just need to level the skill up first for it to be transferrable."
After knowing the cause of the error, Lu Ciel began to level up the other four new skills. Fifteen minutes passed by, he was finally able to fill the eight subskills slots with the manipulation arts that he learned.
"Finally, that's taken care of. Lets get back with the training." Lu Ciel clasped his hand as he started his training with the Light Manipulation Art once more.

Four hours have pased by, as what was discussed, elder Bai dropped by in the garden. There in the shade, he could see a young man in a lotus position. The young man's eyes were closed and as elder Bai approached the young man, he could see that the light holes in the shade were slowly moving in a random pattern.
After seeing what was the young man doing, elder Bai can't help but be happy with how his disciple working hard to train his manipulation skill. However, as much as he wants to leave him be, he needs to interrupt him for now.
Cough..*
"Kid." Elder Bai called out to the young man who was peacefully training. "It's time to go."
While still in training, Lu Ciel was having a hard time to reply. "Ten..more..minutes..."
Even though, Lu Ciel was having a hard time with splitting his focus, he was still smiling as he continued speaking. "I'm.about..to.level up...my.skill!"
Seeing this, elder can't help but shook his head in amusement. This is his first time learning how hardworking his disciple can be which made him proud inside. Thus, he complied and waited.
"Success!" Ten minutes passed by, Lu Ciel was indeed able to level up the Light Manipulation Art.
"Congrats, kid." Elder Bai offered his hand to make his disciple stand up. "I presume you were training with the Light Manipulation Art?"
"Thank you, master." Lu Ciel took his master's offered hand to stand up as he replied to the question. "Yes."
"In four hours, I was able to level up the skill to 7 within four hours." Lu Ciel claimed as it made him a follow up question while patting his clothes from dusts. "I have the same affinity to all elements however, how come I'm able to level this skill faster than the other manipulation arts? The skills are basically the same though but has only different elements."
"That's a good question, kid." Elder Bai praised then started out of the garden seeing that his disciple was ready to go while providing his answer. "There are three factors for effectively gaining experience for skills; Skill, Environment and you."
"The skill and evironment are like the two sides of the coin, even though they are in opposite position, they are still one item. And then, there's you, your insight on how you are going to spend that coin." The two were now already in the hallway as they were discussing about the factor of gaining skill experience and when they were about to arrive in reception are, elder Bai's robe magically disappeared slowly to not attract people's attention when going out of the Alchemy guild.
"Oh, I understand now." Lu Ciel nodded in realization as he looked at the old man and comment. "You have a way with your analogy you know that?"
"Haha!" Elder Bai only laughed at his disciple as he began to expound the details of what they were discussing. "Let me provide an example with your Light Manipulation Art, since you are in the central empire region, the light element is abundant since this is the main element of the winged race. The skill itself that you are practicing is for light element itself. Hence, the environment and the skill perfectly compliment with each other. And there's you, your affinity, knowledge and insight with using light element -- do I need to explain it further?"
"No need." Lu Ciel only shrugged his mater's haughty manner. "I've already understood it from your nonsensical analogy."
"Good kid." Elder Bai simply praised.
"What now?" Lu Ciel asked as the two got out of the Alchemy guild. The sky was already black and orange signifying that it's going to be night time already. Different kinds of stalls are opening in the street which reminded Lu Ciel of festival on Earth. This made him feel nostalgic. "Is it like this every night?"
"No." Elder Bai only chuckled at his disciple's amazement. "It's only for this year. To be specific, nine days in a year due to the hunter license event."
"Come on. Lets visit your butler first." Elder Bai gestured to his disciple to follow him.
Lu Ciel only nodded as he followed.
As the two were walking, elder Bai still kept talking and questioning to learn more about his disciple. "So, you two were from Eastern Moon region, huh? You have a surname Lu, does that mean your the missing bastard prince?"
"Er.." Lu Ciel can't help but smile wryly as to how indifferently direct his master can be sometimes. "You got it."
"Why did you leave if you had a life of a royalty?" Elder Bai simply asked as he gazed on his young disciple.
"Nah!" Lu Ciel only laughed as he responded. "Though life was comfortable since all the needs were being presented as always but, it certainly was not royal."
"Hmm..I see." Elder Bai nodded profoundly.
"Besides.." Lu Ciel continued with providing explanation. "With all the necessities being provided, life is boring. I'm a person who lives for the thrill and excitement that the world provides. Hence, a royal life is not suited for me."
"That's why you became a dungeon hunter?" Elder Bai asked in confirmation.
"Yes." Lu Ciel nodded in an anticipating manner to what will his life of adventure will be.
Seeing the excited look of his disciple, elder Bai can't help but shake his head as he questioned his disciple once more. "What if the thrill and excitement that the dungeon provides is too much for you?"
Hearing this question made Lu Ciel stop on his tracks and wondered as he looked at his master. "I never thought about that. Is there really such a thing as too much thrill and excitement?"
"Stupid kid." Elder Bai flicked the forehead of his disciple. "What is fear then? That is basically the too much of thrill and excitement."
The two have finally arrived at the Hunter guild. Looking at his disciple, elder Bai can't help but sigh in worry as he roll his eyes, reminding Lu Ciel that Dungeon Hunting is a serious matter. With that, he patted his disciple's shoulder, giving his best wishes as he closed the topic. "Be strong, kid. Don't let the dungeon consume you."
"Yes, master." Lu Ciel seriously nodded. He was back awake in a life that he's in. Life in this world is not good but, there's a way for it to not become bad either and that way is to become strong.
"Come on, lets go." Elder Bai gestured to follow him as he opened the door to enter.
Lu Ciel nodded as he follow the back of his master. Being reminded of what needs to be done with life, his hand clenched tight as the fire in his eyes burned bigger and brighter.
