Escape Again

"I FUCKING KNEW IT!" I shouted looking scornfully at Aizawa.

"I need to get you out now. I won't fight, I swear. But if we stay, they'll smell us out!" I said. Looking over the edge to see the wolves tear at Sero's tape with their teeth and set the wolf free.

"Damn . . ." Bakugou whispered, peering over with me as well.

"No, Bakugou, find a way out and I'll have Kitsune reach you AFTER you find a way. Do NOT engage with any of them, just find a way out and back to Kitsune." He instructed.

"Aiz-" I started.

"NO!" He shouted.

I snapped my mouth shut and looked down at the ground. Midnight layed a comforting hand on me but Aizawa quickly dismissed her.

"Go get in you jeep. Tokoyami, be VERY careful and go around the mountain and wait for Bakugou. Stay out of sight.

I hear a woosh and he was gone until it was just Aizawa, Bakugou, and I.

"Kitsune, you are a STUDENT. Do you hear me? Student. Which means it's my job to protect you. Not the other way around. I know you want to be a hero. Because you love the thrill of engaging in something that makes your blood pound. But I love all of you." He said. Looking pointedly at Bakugou who looked away. "All of you."

"But we need to take care of ourselves." I finished.

"Exactly." Aizawa said, his eyes returning to my bandage. "Now, Bakugou, carry her to Tokoyami because we still need her to make the ramp."

Bakugou nodded and was about to picked my up when the mountain started shaking. The cave entrance collapsed and we were right next to it. Aizawa and Bakugou tried to reach me but the ground under me gave way before they could.

I fell, feeling air underneath me as I turned to see a snarling wolf. And damn, was it pissed.

I used what little energy to fly and stopped before I fell right into its jaws.

I fly backwards and back to the mountain to touch it before feeling my way through the ground on the opposite side of the mountain.

I gasped. Finally accomplishing a new training move I had been training since the beginning of my years of UA.

I could feel a weight. A presence in an area. Must be Tokoyami. I quickly manipulated the earth inside the cave and dug a tunnel to Tokoyami. I looked up to see Aizawa and Bakugou jump out of the cave and down to me.

"You idiots!" I hissed. "You should have just left me. I can't fly anymore and Bakugou can't carry me very well in mid air. You're holding the other back, who's driving jeep #1?" I asked.

"Can you ever worry about yourself for once? The cave isn't-" Bakugou said.

"I just made a road! I figured out how to locate a weight from the ground! I JUST made the tunnel, get back up there, the others are probably hesitating because of you!"

Bakugou winced and looked at Aizawa. The sight both made our jaws drop. He had tears in his eyes. Not from his quirk, emotional tears.

"I'm not leaving you." He growled.

He picked me up and carried me as we ran. I heard thumping and blasting and looked around to see the wolf get blasted in the face by Bakugou.

"Bakugou!" I called for him. But he didn't budge. He fought, buying us time and I felt a really sickly feeling in my chest just as he got swatted by a paw. "Bakugou!"

He continued to fight, risking his life while I was being pathetically carried to the mountain. Desperation sprang into my mind to get Bakugou with us.

"KATSUKI!" I shouted.

Bakugou froze and clenched his fist, staring at the wolf before turning away and blasting after us.

I sighed with relief and Aizawa passed me over to him while he used his binding cloth to work his way up the mountain while Bakugou slung me on his back and blasted up. We landed oup top and saw the cars hadn't moved.

Midoriya and Mirio jumped out of five when we arrived. Midoriya had tears in his eyes and hugged me and Bakugou when we landed.

"I saw you fall Kitsune! I was so scared!" He said, tring to control his tears.

Bakugou didn't even snap at him, he was quiet as he let me go into Midoriya arms.

"Let's move." Aizawa said hopping into #1 and we all climbing into #5.

But this time, Bakugou climbed into the backseat with me in the middle and Midoriya on my other side with Todoroki in the front seat and Mirio driving.

"Are you alright Kitsune? You gave everyone quite a scare with that fall." Mirio asked.

"Fine." I muttered, looking out the window as we drove down the tunnel. It was probably the darkness and not the lack of sleep, but I felt myself get groggy as we drove. I felt my head droop but snap it up as I didn't want to sleep.

Bakugou slithered an arm over the seats and grabbed a blanket. He set it over me and leaned me against Midoriya's shoulder.

"Deku told me you didn't sleep at all tonight. Get some rest. Damn idiot." He growled.

I smiled at Bakugou and Midoriya who turned red and snuggled against him and went to sleep.

~Bakugou's Point of View~

I froze when I heard her call my name. I clenched my fist, the strong feeling of wanting to be with her cross over me. I felt myself give in and go back to her and Aizawa. Aizawa passed her to me when I came over and I held her to me.

A feeling I hated came over me when I held her. Kitsune was a strong girl and a smart one. She was pretty and made my thoughts stutter. I slung her over my back while I blasted my way up the side of the mountain and to the cave,

I looked to see she had made a tunnel when we left. As soon as we touched down. Deku came over crying about Kitsune.

Kitsune and the damn nerd had always been close since we started UA, but the way he threw his arms over her made made me keep my mouth shut in thought about their relationship.

I let her go to his arms as she hugged him back.

"I saw you fall Kitsune! I was so scared!" He cried.

"Let's move." Aizawa said.

We quickly climbed into the jeep and I sat in the back with Kitsune and Deku.

"Are you alright Kitsune? You gave everyone quite a scare with that fall." Mirio asked.

"Fine." She muttered. She looked out my window and her eye lids drooped slightly. Her head tilted slightly but she snapped it up in denial with sleep.

I snorted internally and reached over the seats to grab a blanket. I pulled it over her and pushed her to lean against Deku's shoulder. As much as I wanted her against MY shoulder, I couldn't raise suspicion about my feelings for Kitsune.

"Deku told me you didn't sleep at all tonight. Get some rest. Damn idiot." I growled.

She smiled at the both of us and I felt my face go red as well as Deku's. SHe snuggled into his side and closed her eyes, accepting sleep.

After a minute I tugged half of the blanket over me and made sure she still had some.

"I'm getting some sleep. Wake me if anything happens." I growled and closed my eyes.

Kitsune's thigh was pressed up against me as was her left shoulder. I leaned against the window and sighed in my own thoughts.

What was the deal with this girl. The old hag already decided that she was gonna find a partner for m-

My thoughts froze at the thought of my mother. My eyes shot open and I sat up.

"Deku . . . . ." I said, looking at him.

He had been staring down at Kitsune's sleeping face as she leaned against him but his head snapped up to me when I said his name.

"Yes Kacchan?" He asked.

"I still don't like you so don't take this as small talk, but what about out parents?"

~Midoriya's Point of View~

I looked down at Kitsune's pretty sleeping face and smiled. SHe really gave a scare when she feel but I should've expected Kacchan to come back with her.

"Deku . . . " I looked up at Kacchan who had said my name.

He never really starts conversation with me so it startled me when he said something.

"I still don't like you so don't take this as small talk, but what about out parents?"

My thoughts seized in fear of the thought.

"I'm sure other pro heroes evacuated them. They probably are heading to the refuge too. I mean, it couldn't have spread too fast no could it of?" I responded. I tired to sound affirmative but my voice was weak at the thought of my dead mother.

"I hope my father's dead." Todoroki said emotionlessly.

Bakugou snorted and I winced.

"Cmon Todoroki. I know I can't change your feelings, but he's still your father." I said.

"Hmm." He hummed in response.

Mirio grunted.

"I sure do hope my father's okay. His quirk is the same as mine. I'm sure he's fine. He still has his . . . ." Mirio sighed and my heart throbbed in remembrance that he lost his quirk in the Shie Hassaikai mission.

I looked out the window deep in thought with the fact that I had no idea what to think of this outcome.

"I really hope they're okay."

~Todoroki's Point of View~

"I really hope they're okay." I heard Midoriya say as we broke out of the mountain side.

The tunnel Kitsune had made revealed to be successful. I saw Tokoyami return to his jeep and we continued down and back on the road to the refuge.

"I'm scared for my mother." I finally admitted.

"Of course you are. That's only natural." Mirio said.

"I think."

I turned around to look at the three in the back.

"That this is gonna get a whole lot worse." I said.

Misoriya pursed his lips.

"Now you sound like Kitsune. Yes, she's usually right, but that doesn't mean she is all the time-"

"Shut the hell up Deku! She's always right! That's one of the things I noticed! Whenever she's negative, she's right! I'm starting to think sensing misfortune is a second quirk she has!" Bakugou hissed.

Midoriya's ears perked at that and he looked deep in thought.

"I'm not surprised. When she had said something bad was gonna happen to me at the Shie Hassaikai, I really wish I had taken it seriously, because I lost my quirk in the result. But if she really thinks this is gonna get bad, we need to tell some and we need to tell them now." Mirio said tensely beside me.

Midoriya looked up.

"What's that?" He asked, the tenseness in his voice.

Something was barreling at us and before I knew it, our jeep had been smashed back.
