[Changed] Growing Stronger

(A/N not R18... Yet.)

(A/N Redo, Right, after some thoughts, retconning the whole of what I had written before, did not like it, so no ridiculous time skip, I'm going to be editing the first chapter also, to change the looking back bit. Just, I felt bad for how I left this, going to change it mostly, I will keep up to the system share, but will be editing it also.)

After the amazing kiss, Hornet and I simply hugged and cuddled together on the bench.

some time passed and we got up from the bench after I explained why I had suddenly collapsed and apparently was in a coma for almost a week.

"I might not like it, but you need to get stronger, its why I cleared the third section of the mushroom tunnel for you." said Hornet.

"right." I said determined.

before we headed out, I decided to try and overload the slot amount, and equipped all the charms I could, the results, I was floored, Instantly, Hornet was worried but I reassured her, and told her I am training.

we headed into the first tunnel with the hosts and globbies, and I slayed, and trained, and grew in strength, I was about on par with how hornet was when we first met, perhaps weaker, also after the kiss me and Hornet had a new option of my system opened.

Hornet apparently could equip the same charms as me, and the same number as well, so her strength shot forwards leagues ahead of me, she could one shot me if she was not careful, that's how strong she is now.

but anyways the next tunnel I saw open, was one of ice.

Hornet was practically my shadow now, with how close she was trying to stick to me, while also giving me space to gain battle experience.

when the tunnel ended, I would say that I came to a room, but that's not exactly correct when after exiting the tunnel I walked right into an icy forest.

the enemies inside the forest had me instantly think of one verse that is linked here, but how and why are there Grimm from rwby!?

three saber tooth Grimm jumped out from behind some icy rocks.

I took my stance(like genji from overwatch) and had an idea.

one of the Grimm pounced at me, and I bifurcated it.

the other two charged at the same time from opposite directions.

I leapt into the air, and as I was coming down I grabbed onto a branch from a nearby ice tree, and I flipped into the direction of my pull while also throwing a small bug like thing towards the two Grimm.

the small bug was a baneling like bug, in that it was full of acid and exploded when it wanted to, or when it died.

I figured out I could make small insects like that thanks to EM, it takes like half of my soul energy, and I can only have a small number of them alive at one time, but its still awesome.

the banebug(calling it that now btw) exploded on the faces of both the saber tooth Grimm, and they howled in pain for a little before falling over and beginning to disintegrate, like how all Grimm do further pointing out how rwby is somehow connected here, and that concerns me, that means that they too have to have everyone that I liked from it are dead, well perhaps salem still lives, just in some weird demented way like how sif was.

going further into the forest, I fought a lot of saber tooth Grimm, like a lot, and when I got to the other side of the forest, I saw a tower, and so I thought about what I could possibly be going against, when I approached the tower three megoliaths appeared.

yeah, not cool.

I managed to take one down rather fast, after stabbing one of its eyes out, I make as many banebugs as I could(which is like 6 btw) and threw them into the eye socket.

the next two however, were a bit of a pain.

they summoned more saber tooth Grimm, so you know, fun!(sarcasm)

I fought as hard and fast as I could, the Grimm just kept coming, and I was beginning to tire.

that was until a green laser swept through the Grimm, killing all the saber tooth and one of the megoliaths.

I looked up and saw flying in was a ginger haired teen with rockets on her feet and lasers shooting out of her hands.

it was penny, but, how the voice said all NPC's were dead, and I could see why Hornet was not because she was technically a boss thus is not an NPC, but penny is alive as I can see, so how?

I shook the thoughts out of my head, and threw six more banebugs at the last megoliath, right in the mouth as it was going to roar for more saber tooth Grimm.

it fell down dead, and I waved at penny to show I was not a Grimm.

she slowly came down and stood right in front of me.

"hello there!" I said, trying to be friendly.

"salutations!" she replied back.

"it's nice to see someone else alive other than me and my wife." I said(also cementing my position with Hornet, she is currently having a steamy blush in the bush over there to the right, behind me)

"indeed, it is the same for me as well, I have been fighting Grimm and other strange things for over a couple decades." penny says.

"huh, I wonder why Hornet never said anything about you, she must have run into you at some point, considering she has been alive longer than you." I said.

"this Hornet person you speak of, is she the one in the red over there trying to hide in that bush?" she said.

"yes, yes she is." I say

I turn to the bush and say "its alright now Hornet, you can stop watching me from the shadows."

Hornet comes out of the bush still blushing a bit and stands next to me.

"we should get going." Hornet says me.

Hornet takes my hand and begins dragging me off, I wave to penny as she is doing so.

as I'm waving I say to her "bye then friend!"

"so, why is it you've never decided to tell me you knew of someone sane other than me?" I ask Hornet.

"because she is not sane, she is weird and I don't trust her." Hornet replied.

"what did you call me?" penny says, suddenly appearing to the left of Hornet.

"GAH! sorry did you hear me?" Hornet says after getting jump scared.

"no not you, you." she says to hornet, then to me as she points at me.

it comes to mind that she is acting somewhat like how she was when she first met everyone on team rwby.

"I called you friend, I hope that's fine with you." I said.

"oh joyous day I have a friend!" penny says, and now is kind of acting like starfire.

"we can hang out and talk about many different things like our kill count and our weapons!" penny says, now that one I don't know, but it came out of left field.

"calm down there, he is my h-husband!" Hornet says, but stutters when calling me husband.

"ooh a married couple! How lovely!" penny says, and now we are back to starfire.

"how long have you been married?" penny asks.

"around a month." I say back totally bs'ing the time bit.

"oh wonderful, have you copulated? if so, how was it?" penny asks, and now I think its time to steer the conversation somewhere else, oh wait there's something shining over there by the tower hooray for plot timing.

"Hornet look! another charm!" I say slightly louder than perhaps was necessary, but Hornets blush was starting to go nuclear and I needed to get out of her grasp.

"a charm?" penny asks while tilting her head to the side.

I rush forwards after Hornet releases me, the charm was-

(A/N so yeah Retconned the whole previous thing written here, like this better, and I did this cause I had some inspiration suddenly come forth. So, huzzah! The Prolog still continues!)
