chapter 4: What’s happening?!

Devika’s POV

“It is nice meeting you, Mr...?” he said while waiting for Cyrus to say his name.

“Tsk…” he snobbishly clicked his tongue in response.

“Cyrus... Cyrus is his name,” Chen said seriously.

“Chen!” Cyrus angrily calls Mädchen.

“What?! Is your name gold that you don’t even want the others to know about it?! You’re old enough, so why are you so childish?!” she arrogantly said to Cyrus. Chen and Cyrus started to argue AGAIN…

“Uy Devika! Aren’t they cute?” Ellaina asked me.

"Yes they are!” Lea and Neil agreed in sync.

“What’s cute about them? They act so childish.” I quietly said.

I happen to look in front again when I heard the sound of the chair when someone’s standing from it. He goes straight towards the noisy trio. Don’t tell me he will join this chaos?

“Hoy Saimon! *Yawns* Why are you guys so noisy?” He sleepily asked them while stretching his neck. When he finished talking, the whole classroom began to fill with silent squealing coming from the girls.

“Uy was it him? Was he Rory `Omorfori?” one of my girl blockmates asked excitedly.

“Yes, yes he is, it’s him, hihihi” a girl excitedly answered back. Haysst, simps. Rory continued approaching the trio, when he finally reached them, he immediately rest his left elbow on Saimon’s shoulder. Oh, he’s not that short if you’re near to him, but he is shorter compared to the average height of a man, I think he is still a bit taller than me.

“What are you doing here? Who are they?” Rory confusedly asked Saimon.

“Oh them? New friends... I guess?” he said while smiling.

“And who is this?” Cyrus irritatedly asked.

“Rory `Omorfori is the name, nice meeting you” he introduced.

“I am Mädchen, and this ugly donut *pointing at Cyrus* is Sirius Cyrus” she introduced the both of them to Rory. Same as earlier, Cyrus just clicked his tongue in annoyance, he avoid his gazes when Rory looked at him. I was just silently listening to them when I noticed that Rory’s scratches and bruises are even more severe than I thought, I just didn’t notice it earlier when I first saw it.

“O-oy! Wait! Rory, why do you have so many scratches and bruises on your body? What happened?” I asked, concerned.

“E-eheh! D-don’t mind if I ask, sorry hehehe” I shyly said, then dodged their gazes. What are you doing Devika?! Your feeling close, you‘re letting your gossiper side take over you again! Embarrassing!

“Oh? And who are you?!” Cyrus confusedly asked me while raising one of his brows.

“A-Ah! I-I am D-Devik-” I nervousely said but Mädchen interrupts me.

“Heh! She’s the female dog we met earlier, HAHAHA” teasingly said by Mädchen while laughing.

“Huh?! Female dog?!” the three male surprisedly said in sync. If I only knew that this will happen, I just stay and spend my free time at the canteen and eat, instead of hearing Mädchen insult me again!

“Iinnnggg! I already said that I have a name! And that is Devika! DE-VI-KA!” I shouted to Mädchen. You’re really getting on my nerves. I shall avenge myself someday.

“Female dog *smirk*, the name female dog suits you just fine though,” Cyrus teasingly said to me.

“What!?” I shouted while aggressively stood up on my chair. Okay! This is my limit! I grab and raise my chair and aimed at Cyrus when I suddenly felt someone is grabbing me to stop me from what I am about to do. I turned my head to see who’s grabbing me, only to see my friends trying their best to stop me.

“O-oy Devika! Calm down!” they said while grabbing the chair to stop me. I am so fed up with these two. I should execute what I shall need to do, and that is to teach them some lesson!

“Let go! I’m so pissed with these two! They don’t stop pissing me off!” I shouted while my friends are still holding me to stop me. Seems like they don’t even budge, since they’re both still looking at me while smirking. This fueled my anger, so I did my best to make these three loosen their grip on me. I succeeded in loosening their grip, but it sent them flying, sorry guys, I will just treat you to lunch later to compensate, I will just have my revenge with these two! I raised my chair high to increase the impact. When I am about to throw it...

“Ah! Devika!” I stopped when someone called my name.

“What?!” I said, annoyed. I turned my head to see who called me. My anger slightly fade when I saw Rory, he was the one who called me. Saimon is beside him while looking at us smiling.

“Heh! Do you mean these scratches? I got this earlier before we came here at the University.” he boastfully but at the same time happily said, I don’t get it... Did Saimon and him were fighting earlier? And what scratches? Eh, he was full of wounds and bruises!

“Ehem! Ah Eh, what he meant was, we happened to encountered five students from other Universities earlier” Saimon explained.

“Ahh...you mean in a ‘fight’ earlier?” Mädchen interrupts.

“Heh! It’s pretty obvious that that fellow of yours attracts trouble” Cyrus arrogantly said to Saimon. Rory just laugh looking so proud of what happened to them. To all those who have been beaten up, he was the happiest.

My other blockmates suddenly came inside the room, following them is our next professor. She immediately started her discussion. While she was in the middle of her discussion, she noticed that someone is not listening to her. I followed to where is she looking at, ahh... it‘s Cyrus, he was not listening. He was just staring outside the window, brain flying. Oh no, this professor is a strict one, if the other professor doesn’t care if you’re listening to them or not, this professor is different, she wanted all of your attention, like you won’t look to others, your gazes should be hers and hers only. She wanted your 100% attention. She suddenly throws something hard to Cyrus to get his attention it made a sound "swoosh", all of my other blockmates that was sitting in front of Cyrus bows their heads to dodge that flying object our professor threw, others who are on the side followed the flying object with their gazes. I am one of those who bowed their head and closed their eyes because I am near to Cyrus, feels like it will hit me as well!

I heard my blockmates said `Woah‘ in disbelief and amazement, so I slowly raised my head and look to where Cyrus is, even I, am amazed at what I saw, he was holding the thing that our professor throws at him using his two fingers, the thing that our professor threw was a metal stick. Seems like Cyrus didn’t even budge, since he was still looking at the window while resting his chin at his fist wearing a bored expression on his face. How the hell did he do that?! Amazing!

“Oh no... he’s starting something again” Mädchen calmly said while smirking.

Despite of being shock by what she just saw, our professor continues discussing again. I still can‘t moved on to what happened earlier, how did Cyrus manage to catch that without even bother looking, I just stayed staring at those two monkeys wondering. I was about to stop looking at them when their expression suddenly changes. Shock but alert is seen in their faces.

“Don’t tell me that it is right now?!” they said in sync, looking surprised at something. Everyone was startled and looked at the both of them. What “right now” are they talking about?

“W-wait! Who are the other three?! Don’t tell me they are here in this room with us?!” Mädchen said loudly. She stood up and looked around the room. Cyrus stands up while his head is down.

“Hoy! What is wrong with those two?!” our professor asked confusedly. Cyrus slowly raised his head while smirking.

“Heh! She’s coming!” he excitedly exclaimed.
