Chapter 5

Well it's Saturday, and I have actually been looking forward to it, although I don't really fancy parties but Eni's excitement for the party had rubbed off on me.

We had gone shopping for the party two days back and it was awesome. We tried different outfits, at first I was thinking of something simple but Eni was thinking crop tops, skinny jeans, heels, flawless smokey sexy makeup. According to her, the key is to look sexy but not trashy.

I wouldn't have agreed to all the get up if I hadn't deduced that it would be needed. Seyi had sent me the address of the party and it was in the most luxurious estate in Nigeria, so definitely the party won't be an ordinary one. I had to plead to the annoying demon before he told me it was going to be more of a club party than anything else and he went as far as calling me shy for not going straight to the point and asking what outfit would be appropriate.

He was so annoying but I guess he wasn't so bad. I smiled to myself.

It's 6 o'clock and we are on our way to the party in my new car, a Toyota Avalon 2016 model. I specially told my brother something subtle but he didn't listen. According to him, it was my first car and this was the lowest he could have gotten for me anything lower than this wasn't possible, well I decided not to return it because a lot of students in my school had cars more expensive, so it won't bring much or any attention for that matter.

When we got to the main gate, we were asked our names and what house we were heading to. We told them and they checked for our names on their list, and on seeing our names they politely said "You are welcome to banana island"

"Thank you" we said

We drove by different beautiful apartments, until we got to the one the party was being held, seriously though, how rich is Seyi? To own an apartment here costs a lot.

We were asked our names again before we were allowed to go into the compound.

There were lots of expensive looking cars in the car park, whatever happened to the small party he originally told me about? Eni seemed more than amazed at the cars we were seeing here, there were Lamborghinis, Maseratis , BMWs and other cars I didn't even know their names.

"ESE, this is just wow, look at the cars!! I can't believe I'm looking at a Lamborghini right now" She said excitedly

I smiled " I know right, this is so cool," I didn't want to make her feel small or anything for getting so excited.

My brother owned one so I didn't really get all fan girl about it, but I did get her, all these expensive cars in one place, it looked like a showroom.

We found an empty space and parked, I decided to text Seyi as we walked down to the main door that we were here and when we got to the door, he came out and damn did he looked good. Is it possible for someone to look better each time you see them?

He was wearing a dark blue skinny jean, with a white shirt and a black jacket and he finished it up with white sneakers.

He was looking at me like I was all he could see, while he was still staring at me, I started feeling timid under his scrutiny but tried to hide it and act all confident so I said "Take a picture, it will last longer" While smiling

That seemed to bring him back from wherever his mind went to and he said sounding out of breath, "wow, you look amazing" And then he smirked and said "And I'll definitely take a picture" I laughed .

His attention went to Eni "Hey Eni, you look amazing"

She smiled at him and said "I was beginning to think I was invisible"

"Nah, not even if you wanted to, please come on in," He said and then opened the door and walked in, while we followed behind him.

I could hear music but it was from the back, there was no one in the large living room which looked exquisite by the way, it looked like an ideal bachelors den.

Anyway I went on to say "Em Seyi, why take us through the main door when the party is at the back?" I asked

He smiled at me nervously and said "Oh right ..." He rubbed his head nervously and said "Em...em... I wanted to get something "

It was obvious he wasn't saying the truth but I let it slide, he already looked so embarrassed.

"He lead us through the back door,I looked around and I saw a stage with a DJ on it and a big field where all the college students *I'm assuming* were grinding, twerking and dancing on, there was a beautiful pool too, but it wasn't being used, there were lot's of drinks and there was a barbecue stand.

We were standing a little far from the whole craziness though.

A guy holding two red cups walked up to us smiling and Seyi said

"This is Raymond, I call him Ray, he owns this place and is actually the main host of this party" Seyi said,and continued "This is Ese and Eni"

Oh.. Seyi didn't own the place, my bad for assuming

Raymond gave him a look I didn't quite understand and then he went on to say

"Nice to meet you guys, you guys look hot and Ese you've got my guy here tripping, like tripping hard "

I laughed and looked at Seyi who was apparently looking at me but quickly looked away when he saw I noticed, I went back to meet Raymond's eyes and said "It's nice to meet you too, thank you, love your place by the way"

Eni laughed and said "Like it isn't obvious" she said looking at Seyi, who looked so embarrassed and continued "Nice to meet you Raymond" She gave him a smile

"Observant, I like it " Raymond said to Eni and then continued, "Let's join the party!!! like what are we here for?!" and then offered Eni a drink

Eni took the cup of whatever was inside and shouted "Let's do this!!"

Raymond and Eni went way into the party, and soon I lost sight of them.

I and Seyi were now in an awkward state, I was feeling rather uncomfortable so I decided to blame it on the loud music and too much people. Seyi noticed it and said "Well, you seem uncomfortable, you don't do parties?"

I smiled and said, " Not really "

"Well my bad, I thought you'd actually enjoy a party," He said sheepishly

"Nah, it's fine actually. Can you get me a drink? " I said

He quickly said "Sure sure, I'll be right back" And he left

I really need to chill, I have never been so nervous, I was just having a conversation with a guy for goodness sakes, what is wrong with me.

While trying to get myself together, he came back with a bottle and two cups

he opened it and poured the content of the bottle into the cups and gave me one and said with a smile "Here you go "

I took it and gave him a look "Are you trying to get me drunk?"

He laughed "It actually has very little alcohol, so no, I'm not "

I smiled sheepishly "Right" I said as I drank

"So how do you know all these people already?" I asked

"Raymond actually, I know only a few persons here, he is the social one between the two of us" He smiled and continued "I've known him for most of my life, his mom is really close to mine, he lived with us till about three years ago" He said

"That close huh?, that's nice" I said giving him a smile

"Yea,that close" He said

"So,do you have anyone like that? "

"Em, yea actually,that would be my brother,he is such a child around me, although he is older with five years and he is also very protective, annoyingly so, but I love him despite his over protectiveness " I said smiling

"It's hard to see you as someone's baby sister with your I'll kill you if you look at me the wrong way attitude.Except... that look is reserved for me" He teased

"You wish" I said to him

He was actually right, he brought out the fire in me, and I'm not sure if it's a bad thing or not.

He laughed.

My goodness,is it possible to love so much about a person,I even found his laugh extremely cute.

"Do you like movies, if you don't then bye,nice knowing ya,cause I don't think any cool person won't like movies" he said

I laughed so hard "you are not okay" And continued "of course I do and I agree with you though,I'm not sure there's anybody who doesn't like movies by the way"

"seriously?,I have met some weird persons like that,like there was this girl I took to the movies,we we were watching Avengers Infinity wars and she freaking slept throughout the movie,like it's Avengers!!,who does that!!" He said all that looking irritated.

The way he looked so annoyed just relaying the story cracked me up, I started laughing while saying "you are such a geek I swear,but she definitely had a sleeping disorder or something, like who sleeps while watching Avengers Infinity wars!"

"I know right,I didn't want to be rude,so I didn't tell her. Anyway so i tend to ask people I like that before anything" He said

Wait did he just indirectly say he liked me,okay he was good,I'll give him that,that was a sly move I said to myself.

I gave him a look and he did that thing again,he rubbed his hands at the back of his head shyly.

I swear he was so cute when he got all shy and at first I didn't think shy was even in his dictionary.

" Em shit.. Em... Sorry...,sorry I said that,no I don't mean sorry like I don't like you..., I mean sorry... if you think it's too soon, shit I so shouldn't have said that,I so shouldn't have said that,did I freak you out? " He rambled

I smiled,I'm i a horrible person for enjoying this, I so wanted to kiss him right now, *wait what!!! * how the hell did this happen,this is most likely all pretence,what happened to not falling Ese!! I face palmed

Despite not wanting to be easy I didn't want to go back to the rude Ese,he hasn't done anything to warrant that, *yet * my mind added,but I wanted to give him a chance

So I gave him a smile and said "hey it's fine,it's fine,it's kinda of too soon, true, so let's take it slow yea?,friends? "

"Right friends,I can work with that " He smirked, going back to his laid back self.

I rolled my eyes and smiled .

He looked at me and said "not to sound cheesy or anything but I would so hate myself if I let today go by without telling you how much i love your smile"

This guy is killing me i swear,my heart was beating so fast,why the hell I'm i reacting like this,that was definitely straight out from the players play book.

"Right.... " I said

"Seriously, you have an amazing smile" He said

"Thank you" I replied sheepishly

Noticing I looked uncomfortable,he quickly changed the subject and decided to tease me

"So i guess you are a horrible dancer " He said

I scoffed "you have deduced that how?"

"You don't like parties, which is probably due to your lack of dancing skills" He smirked

And that's when I heard one of my favorite songs, korede bello's do like that,I smirked,I then took the bottle he brought some time back and drank from it.

I walked to where the party was really heated as seductively as I could while looking at him and when I got there,my favorite part of the song was being played

I continued to sway my hips to the beat,I was on fire,I don't know if it was the look he was giving me that made me just loose it,or the song,or maybe it was the alcohol,but I did know I would regret this very soon.

I went on dancing seductively,while looking at him,rolling my hips, touching myself, biting my lips.

He was still looking at me,now looking so turned on,he was biting his lips while his eyes wander through my body.

A guy started dancing close to me, i so wanted him to be Seyi but went on dancing,moving my hips to the beat and looking behind me seductively to the guy dancing with me.

When i turned back to were Seyi was i realized he wasn't there,that's when i heard him,his lips were so close to mine "ESE you definitely can dance" he sounded so out of breath.

I smirked, he put his hands on my hips and that's when Nick Minaj's song "bed" Came on and i know I said I was on fire before,but now,now this was so different,it was like his touch made me crazy,I started grinding on him and tweaking like I was possessed.

I was so close to him that I swear I felt his hard on,that's when I looked at him,damn...,the look he gave me.

And then it happened

HE KISSED ME and i did more than allow him,I freaking kissed him back.
