Ese's pov I and Eni are in the school's cafeteria eating,after a really busy day. Well not really cause Eni is the only one eating,while I'm staring at the plate of food in front of me thinking about the days I have had,and all I could feel was bliss. It was still so hard to comprehend that i was in a relationship with Seyi. The guy I hated from day one despite finding him attractive. Well I guess I should have seen it coming,me being attracted to a guy from first sight?,that never happens,but with him it did. He has been the exact opposite of who I thought he was. He has been so sweet,loving,caring, funny and just simply amazing,he has been my everything,he is now my everything i thought. All the dark thoughts that plagued my head due to my horrid past has disappeared due to his light. I have fallen deep, real deep and I just realized that I'm not scared of just how deep I have fallen and to be honest,currently that's scary. I was interrupted by Eni's fake cough, which was obviously to get my attention. "Can you stop daydreaming about Seyi for just two minutes" She said smirking "How do you know I was thinking about him? " I said trying hard not to smile "Cause you had that look,the same look you have had for two weeks now" She said giving me a duh look. "I do not have a look please" I said "Of course you don't" She said sarcastically "Of course you don't" I said mimicking her "You__ My ring tone interrupted whatever it was Eni was about to say She went close to me to check who was calling,smirked and said "speak of the devil.... and he shall appear" "Shush" I said "Glad to know I'm not the only one you terrorize" Seyi said through the phone I didn't even know when I answered the call. "Seyi dear, you aren't oh" Eni shouted "Please,you are way worse when compared to me" I replied her "Of course you'll say that,terror" Eni said I gasped "wow,okay now,Ese: 0 , Eni: 1" Seyi let out a laugh reminding us he was still there. "You want to include fighting to your list right? " Seyi said "Leave me alone jor" I said smiling while looking at Eni who was mouthing that's the look "So...E,guess what?" He said "What?" I said in reply "it's Thursday!!" He said excitedly I chuckled and said "yea i know that,what's so special about Thursday?" "Cause it's another day" He said "Yea like every other day" I said "Remember yesterday was a day too" I added There was silence right after,cause we both apparently we're thinking about the stupid thing that just came out of my mouth. And just then we both bursted out, laughing hysterically. Eni on the other end was giving me the you are not okay look and I ignored her. "Yesterday was a day too?,you are so smart baby" Seyi struggled to say through his laughter. "Shut up" I said in reply

After our amusement dailed down,he said "As I was saying,it's Thursday and it's special because it's another Thursday with you as my girlfriend" If I was light in complexion I would be so red right now. I managed to get my heart beating normally again and then I replied "Seyi baby you are getting cheesy" "Only for you mi Amor" He replied "Oh shut up" I said laughing "Wait,did you just call me baby?" He said "Em....No" I said feeling embarrassed Seyi has been the one using endearments,never me,well all up till now that is,and trust me I'm mortified. "E I'm very sure i heard you call me baby" Seyi said "Please just let it go" I said pleading "Okay then" He said in a low tone I knew this would happen,I Faceplamed inwardly,I need him back to normal. "So why do I feel like there's something you want to tell me,other than flirting that is" I said trying to change the topic "Yea there is....,my dad is holding his annual gala on Saturday and for once I'm actually going and I want you to be my date" He said timidly "Why do you sound like I'll say no? " I said with a smile "Because it's Thursday and Saturday is a day from now" He said "Seyi,I'm used to your late invites already" I said teasingly "This is just the second time!!" He said "Exactly, it's happening again" I said "That makes no sense babe,by the way does this mean you are saying yes?" He replied "Obviously" I said " You could have just said yes" He said "That's too normal" I replied "Of course you'll say that,cause you're not normal,not even in the slightest" He replied "I'm taking that as a compliment" I said with a smile He let out a laugh. "Baby I gat to go,I have a class right about....now,I'm already late" He said "Okay,talk to you later? " I said I don't know why but everytime he is about to hang up or leave I always feel like I need assurance that he'll be coming back. Pathetic.I know. "Definitely" He said and hanged up "Eni?" I said looking at her "Yea?"she replied "I have a gala to attend" I said "Say no more" She grinned "You are crazy" I said while laughing "You know that's why you love me" She winked at me We walked out of the cafeteria and got into our individual cars. As I was about driving off,I got a text "it's only you" I smiled but it quickly faded away when the thought came but for how long.
