Mate?

"Mate"

Alpha Grey's wolf groaned which made the Alpha froze instantly. It was weird to hear that voice in his head again, it's been ages since he last heard it.

And what's even weirder was the fact that it just groaned the word "Mate," which made hairs on the Alpha's back stood straight up as he tried not to think too much about what he had just said.

What does he mean by that, the Alpha thought as his face construed into that of confusion. "Had his beast just found his mate" Alpha Grey wondered out loud.

But then he also wondered if Ash was only trying to toy with him for blocking him out for ages.

Alpha Grey was so confused about what's happening, and although he wanted to know what exactly was going on, he didn't want to talk to Ash. He hated the idea of speaking with him to the extent that he had to fight off the temptation of asking him about what's going on, with all of his self-restraint.

Alpha Grey precisely continued to ignore it like he always ignored very important things and pushed all those thoughts to the back of his head, while he drove away without bothering to buckle his seat belt. Although it took all of the self-restrained he had learned over the last ten years, to get him to leave without finding out if his mate was really in that building.

Alpha Grey's wolf stayed quiet after saying the word "mate" not that he wanted to but because Grey just wouldn't let him out. Alpha Grey could feel him lingering in the surface, just at the brink of breaking out.

While Alpha Grey drove his car at a speed faster than the actual speed limit, he couldn't help but wonder if his supposed mate was new in that building, or if she had always been there and he never knew because he had been restraining his wolf this whole time, or if she had just happened to be there at the moment when he had almost let his wolf take control...

Alpha Grey later arrived at his favorite place to be aside from the club and parked his car but he was seated inside his car and wasn't making any move to get out, he rested his head on his stirring wheels, as the thought of what just transpired played like a broken cassette in his mind's eye. ..

While back at the hospital, Breelia had just opened her eyes to find herself in a completely different environment, and that left her puzzled as the last thing she remembered was the wolf that helped her turned into a fully grown human...

Breelia looked around and barely took note of the half-finished blood bag that was affixed to her hand, she looked around again and no one was within sight, so she tried to remove the needle transfusing the blood to her, from her hand and the door opened before she could.

Breelia's head snapped up at the sound of the door opening and saw a tall well-built guy who looked to be in his late twenties walked in, looked at Breelia quizzically, "I wouldn't do that if I were you" the man who just walked in, told Breelia in form of an advice before adding "you do have a very fast healing process though, even for a wolf I'd say."

And Breelia looked at him quizzically and was just about to ask him how he'd known she was a werewolf even though her wolf felt a little bit nonexistent after what her devious captors had done to her, but before she opens her mouth he beats her to it saying

"Hi, I'm Lucas, what's your name? he implores, Breelia then looked at him, trying to read his facial expression which was a little bit as though he's happy with something, as he had his lips spread across his face, and Breelia couldn't help but notice his exquisitely handsome facial features, before she said " Breelia" which barely came out as a croak from her dry throat.

She then clears her throat, before asking "How did I get here?" Breelia quizzed, although she had an idea that it has something to do with the wolf that had saved her who she was so grateful to, even though she didn't know who it was...

Breelia was secretly hoping Lucas would say he was the wolf who helped her as she couldn't help but be smitten by his beauty... But much to her dismay, Lucas told her it was Sheila and Berry, and that she owe her life to Sheila who somehow got her brother who was the Alpha of the pack to donate blood to her...

Breelia was shocked by this revelation, and although she was grateful to Sheila for her help she couldn't help the feeling of not wanting to be indebted to anyone, but a part of her still felt she was indebted to her and her brother, for saving her, something she dreaded.

Breelia then asked for them and Lucas told her that Sheila only left a couple of minutes ago as she was feeling a bit sick.

Breelia then thanked Lucas for his help and then he left after he told her to rest a little more so she could finish the last bag of blood and recover fully.

Breelia couldn't get her mind to stop thinking about how she has the blood of an Alpha running through her veins, "he sure is one generous Alpha" Breelia said out loud before she decides to take up Lucas's advice and get more rest so the blood won't go to waste but before that she tried to speaking to her wolf to see if she's back since they'd already gotten appropriate treatment, but she was still not responding and that made Breelia so disappointed and angry that she made a promise to take revenge on those who did this to her.
