Explanations.

After Sheila and Berry left the hospital, they didn't go back to the vacation house by the territory's border, they went back to the pack's mansion and Sheila started to search for her brother in the house, but he doesn't seem to have returned home, so she tried calling his phone a few times but he didn't pick up.

That made sheila conclude that something was wrong with her brother, because she knew that no matter how busy Grey was, he never ignores her call not even if he was mad at her.

Sheila knew of the soft spot her brother had for her, which was to an extent where he couldn't stay mad at her even if his life depends on it.

Sheila was so confused about Grey's behavior, because she was completely unaware of his phobias about pregnancy and she also didn't know about the promise her mate had made to her brother...

When Berry saw how uneasy his mate was, he tried to get her to calm down before asking her what she thinks the Alpha's deal was with pregnancy...

When Berry asked Sheila what her brother's deal was with pregnancy and why she thinks he's reacting differently than a normal person would to the news of pregnancy, Sheila couldn't help but wonder what he meant.

"What do you mean by what's his deal with pregnancy," she asked looking at her mate, trying to figure out something, before adding "are you sure that's why he reacted that way?" Sheila asks skeptically...

"I'm not sure babe but I remembered we once had a conversation with him at my bachelors party, and he made me promise never to get you pregnant, I agreed to it though tagging it as a drunken conversation and part of the teasing a guy gets before getting married. I never knew he had meant what he was saying that night," Berry explained and then looks at Sheila unsure if what he had just said made any sense.

Sheila stared at Berry completely puzzled at what her mate had just told her...

"That's new, I know of Grey's decisions to never find his mate, however, I never knew he had any form of uncomfortable feelings about pregnancy," Sheila asserted.

And she wasn't done processing that piece of information when she suddenly felt the urge to go puke again...

She then rushed into the nearest sink and continued to dry heave as there was nothing left in her stomach to throw up, aince she hadn't eaten anything Today except for water, which was now gone after three consecutive pukes.

After dry heaving for a while, Sheila rinsed her mouth and then started to blame the blue stuff that they had used on her so she'd appear so sick when Black arrived to be the cause of her throwing up for the 3rd time now, in the nick of two hours...

Sheila's phone started to ring and she rushes to answer the phone with the hopes that it was Grey calling, but then it turns out that it was Lucas who was calling her.

Sheila had virtually forgotten about Breelia until Lucas called to inform her that she's awake and no longer in danger.

"Hello, hey Lucas what's up," Sheila asked into the phone.

"Breelia's awake "

"Who's Breelia?" Sheila asks again confused as she doesn't remember knowing anyone with that name, and she doesn't even think she's had that name before.

"The girl whose life you just saved," Lucas announced, and that made Sheila face palmed her self for forgetting about something like that so soon.

"Oh, that's great news. I'll come to check on her later I have a few things I need to take care of." Sheila told to Lucas before hanging up.

While Sheila continued to ponder over what Berry had told her, the Alpha had just gotten back into his car and his phone lit up from a text message notification.

He picked up the phone and unlocked it only to find about a million missed calls from Sheila...

"Shit! she's probably worried about me after that outrageous display." Alpha Grey growled while pulling his hair from its root and making a low sound from the back of his throat.

Alpha Grey was unsure of how he'd explain to Sheila, or what excuses he could make that would make her understand his behavior earlier, but his head only came up with the dumbest ideas ever, and even though it sounds stupid even to him, he just concluded that he had no other option but to tell her that...

He couldn't bring himself to tell her the truth behind his actions not because she'd ridicule him but because it would bring up old painful memories that they had tried their possible best to forget.

Alpha Grey then sent Sheila a text telling her to not worry about him and that he'd be returning home soon.

Sheila's phone lit up in her hand, getting a text message, she reads it and then sighed, a deep breath of relief.

"This is a lot to take in for one day" Sheila complained to Berry who was watching his mate closely and appreciating how beautiful she was...

Berry had always felt so lucky that Sheila turned out to be his mate as he had always loved her even before he knew she was his mate...

Berry took a few short steps, and enveloped Sheila in a bear hug, before placing a soft kiss on the crown of her head inhaling the woody scent of her shampoo from her hair, before saying

"You're just so beautiful, and you're glowing, even more, today" which only came out in a low grunt making it sound more like a groan.

After hearing what her mate had just said, Sheila couldn't help the smile that spread across her face even though it's something she hears him say daily, she still blushed at those words...

"I'm sorry you have to suffer this way for a few more months because of me Shei " Berry grumbled and Shelia looked up at him smiling,

" I couldn't have asked for anything better Berry so don't you even dare apologize for making me happy." Sheila appealed as she gently grabs her mate's hand and placed it on her flat belly...

"Eww! get a room guys no PDA allowed here." someone screeched from the entrance to the sitting room...

Berry and Sheila knew it was Sally even before they turned to look.

"We could bang right here in your presence if we feel like Sal so stop screeching like a freaking cricket for once in your life" Berry bellows at Sally who looked undisturbed by what he had just said.

She only gave Berry the middle finger before saying hi to a now crimson-looking Sheila before running upstairs...

"Berry," Sheila began when Black walked in, and that stopped Sheila from saying what she had intended to and went to meet her brother.

"Are you okay?" Sheila asks concern evident in her voice and The Alpha only smiled and nodded before saying "sorry I acted out earlier I guess it kinda had something to do with the blood loss," Grey lied through his teeth, using the blood transfusion as an excuse as he had recollected what had led him to find out his sister was pregnant...

"Are you sure though?" Sheila asked again as she doubted what Grey had just said.

"Yeah, I'm, which brings me back to my question. what in the world did you do with that much blood?" Grey demanded to know with a raised eyebrows.

"Uhh, well," Sheila began but then paused as she tries to construct the sentences in her head, making sure they sound a little bit convincing before she continued.

"Someone's life was in danger and they needed a blood transfusion of a blood type that only you and I shared in the whole of the Pack, and I couldn't help because I'm pregnant which made you the only other option unless we were going to let them die," Sheila explained which practically sounded like she's babbling...

Alpha Grey looked at his sister, his face hardening as he lets the information sink in. If Sheila was someone else he would have punched her right in the gut for what she had just done...

The Alpha was ravingly mad, but he tried his best to hold back his anger as his fist hardens, his knuckles turning pale, while his nails dig into the palm of his hands. Alpha Grey wasn't furious because of the blood he had loosed, it was the thought that this person whose lives he had just saved could be the nightmare he dearly never wanted to become a reality.

Alpha Grey asked Sheila who it was, desperately praying she'd call the name of a guy, because if it was a guy the chances of it being who he thinks it was would be very small, but much to the dismay of the Alpha, Sheila whispered the name,

"Breelia".
