I never thought I would have to choose not to be with her no matter what was going to happen, however here I was.

Even though all I wanted to do was run over to meet her, I couldn't. Even though I was missing her and it felt like might lose all sense of reasoning if I really didn't go back to meet her, I still couldn't bring myself to do it.
