Third person's POV.

"Where is she?" His voice was loud but not in a bad way.

"She's with her mate, I think she would be safer there than been here when the war is going on," came a subtle reply and that made a sigh escape the lips of the Alpha as he couldn't say anything further.

Maybe he's beta was right, the man thought as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"How are those at the borders holding up?" He asked things didn't seem to be doing fine since the last threat and the now threat seems like a much bigger one than they could think of.

"I hear the hasn't been any threat for now, but I told them to remain on high alert," he replied with a slow bow.

"That's good, we can't be caught off guard," the Alpha praised before dismissing his beta.
