Chapter 7: Guider Of Lost Spirits

I ascended to the, Ministry, that Reaper 1224 is a pain, how can he, order around me? Just because he's much higher rank than I am we're both Spirit Guides, anyway.. that's enough of my rambling...

The ministry is not part of the heaven, we're basically at the superficial level of heaven. There's afterlife society, that's where the reaper works and guides the spirits, like what God says ascending in heaven is also a process.

First stage: Death - Grim Reapers, guides you to meet the stages of memories.

Second stage: Recalling - It's a gods way to at least recall you're memory (that's where Joie is at but it stops due to her body fighting)

Third stage and Fourth stages are crucial to spirits, because it's related to sealing you as a spirit, because not all spirits are good there are also evil spirits. - It's a God's way to contemplate what you've done as a human, trials will happen along with you're own spirit guide, this stage is crucial because if you turn to an evil or malevolent spirit during this stage, you're guide and a cleanser will exorcise you or dispose you to the netherworld, maybe because there's no hope for you already.

Fifth stage: Maybe you pass the Third and Fourth one, in this stage, you'll meet the higher ranks themselves, no it's not the saints, that's blasphemy according to the codex of Reapers, only the bosses and cleansers meet them but as a Reaper, we never meet them and this is also our final stage with you, because you'll be on your own from foot.

Sixth Stage: Here you'll meet the Saints, or the Zodiacs, Zodiacs in this realm is like a spirit animal, the Saints are less seen (they're busy) but we never saw the sixth stage because it's up to the spirit how they'll interprets it

Seventh Stage: You've now reach the stairs towards God himself... and he'll be the one who'll judge you.

Joie Satoshi, is much more complicated here, what's with the upper rank fussing all about her? But when I was with her, I think... she's something else.. she's a different from us. I can sense that she may be one of us? because reapers like us goes to trial like this, but if that's the case then why Reaper 1224 never sensed it in the first place he's way more sharper than me. but I'm more sharper than him too!

"Aubie!" I almost got lost in thought while walking, "Report." Ohh.. it's her again, another guide.. "Where's the boss?" I asked her, "Report it to me, I'll just relay it on him" No.. no.. no one should know what's happening down there "I'm a guide of lost spirits right? and you're the Cleanser of the spirits, meaning you can't interfere with the guides." I said to her, Cleanser's are the same as guides but they have higher ranks than us, they participate more on the exorcism and guides them back to where they belong, meaning.... they're more of the frontline if something messed up, and we as guides also participates in the exorcism stuff and we're likely the first one to disappear if that happens. "Yes, and you'll report to us first, why? Does something happen to that spirit?" that spirit she means Joie? I walk pass her and she grabbed me by collar "Hold up!" I froze, I should come up with more reliable lies, Reaper lies but this is the first time for me!!! and it's freaking me out lying is against the code of Reapers "This is his fault!" and I made up a perfect lie "Who's fault?" she releases me and faces me "1224..." I explained to her, when she heard 1224 she'll definitely lose her shit "What the hell did he do, this time?!" I looked around "Well... he uh, he forced me to come here because he's too lazy to talk to the boss, you know that guy is really troublesome, he do whatever he does, he's moody like always when he first get here... and I got sick of him while.. we're guiding that spirit, he's almost attached to her like what--" I shouldn't be telling this, if she knows this... she'll get down there and... "Where is he?" she asks, oh no.. I messed up this is bad... "1224 where is Keshi?" this is bad she reveal Reaper's real name, if she did it again, he will automatically ascend here, and Joie will be left alone, Keshi I mean Reaper 1224, will be the one who'll explain everything and he clearly said to me that the boss should know it first! Oh no, I'm not a good relying at messages "Kes-" my eyes grew wide and felt relief "Boss!!" I screamed, "What the heck Aubie?" he just got out, "I heard Reaper's name being called at? What's happening?" He asks, I clung into him "Well boss about that, I need to speak with you privately." points the office "What? You can just tell me here, and good thing Miki's here" Yeah right, Keshi will definitely be annoyed with me, "Spill it" she says.

If it's these two then, I had no choice.. I positioned myself and tells that, "Joie Satoshi, 23 years old, born November 29, 1997 Died December 24, 2020, hence the spirit guide that was dispatched by the name Keshi aka Reaper 1224, First Rank of the Guider Of Spirits, made a hand in hand contact with a spirit, and currently being attached with her.. I suppose." They're eyes widened "WHAT DID HE DO?" and Miki just burst out "That's against the Codex!" but the boss seems calm about it, that's suspicious, but he's also surprised "What happened to him?" and he seems to expect it, did the God reached him? so I just continue telling the intel, Keshi told me "Keshi, made a hand in hand contact with her, yes he was loosing also his energy force as guide, and almost disappear, but Joie let's it go, because she might turn a malevolent spirit knowing that she held a first rank spirit guide, but he also tells me that she saw some of her memories when she died." The boss nodded "We cannot report this first to the higher ranks, you know how traditional those guys are.." Boss says, "So what do we do boss? and It seems like Keshi is will to do that hand in hand contact to solve this case." He nods "I... I'll try my best to get in contact first to some saints, and I believe, the God himself knows this already... so the best thing to do is go back there, and bring Miki with you if something happens, she'll contact me" pointing to Miki, but Miki is lost in thought and never said any word when he heard about the 'hand in hand' contact "Wha.. what do you mean go down there?" She's totally clueless so I laughed "Oh look at you! Don't worry I know you've adored him ever since." She looked at me annoyed "Whaaaat? No! Reaper's like u-" She's not a Reaper anymore "You're a cleanser now, you've done a great job, I know Keshi want's that position but at that time when it was announced, he's proud that you did it, so.. like he always says even he's dry, 'Be proud' and the also the thing between Joie and him, I really don't know what's happening to them, but you know how determined he was, just to guide some spirits, and he hates troublesome work." But clearly when Keshi explains what happen to him his determination is very strong, like hers.. maybe he doesn't know it well but I think Keshi, is connected with her somehow.. is that how he was dispatched then?

And the vision he had when Joie held her hand? That's a first for him, I witnessed some hand in hand contact too but not like theirs.
