Larry... Third person's POV

Third persons POV,

Larry and his friends were a bunch of college students who had come for research purposes into the mountain, the mountain of Ula, they were going to document everything about what they found in the mountains.

So when they came closer to the cave where Dhar laid, Larry was the first to ask them to go in.

"It would be a great point for the whole project," Larry said trying to convince the other college students but they weren't having it.

"Oh, yeah, why don't you go in and document it yourself am sure you will be getting a good 'A'" A guy dressed in baggy jeans and a leather jacket taunted Larry and the rest bursts into fits of laughter and they all left, leaving Larry all alone.

Dhar who laid on the rock inside the cave had already gotten up and was standing just at the mouth of the cave watching all the college students from where he stood.

Larry felt a little sad, he thought being bullied was only until high school, he didn't know he would still be bullied by his college friends.

Larry was a tall lanky guy who wears baggy clothes all the time and also wears a glass making him appear like a nerd.

His fist hardened as he watched them all walk away still laughing at him, and then he decides to walk into the cave and prove them all wrong...

***

Larry walked to the mouth of the cave with his heart hammering erratically inside his chest. Even though he wanted to prove them wrong, he was still extremely terrified of the dark.

And that particular cave looked too dark even though the sun was shining the brightest. At the mouth of the cave, Larry could feel an intense freezing air coming out of the cave's mouth.

Larry was unaware that Dharl was lurking in the darkness. Larry had considered going with his friends, but he didn't want them to call him a coward like always so he took a deep breath in and exhaled a loud huhhh.

Dharl read the mind of the boy as he stood by the cave's entrance and he smiled a sinister smile at the poor boy's mind.

Dharl's fangs were beginning to hurt reminding him of his reasons for staying secluded from humans, if only Larry knew of the evil lurking inside the cave, then he wouldn't have gone inside.

Dharl on the other hand wanted to stay in control, his eyes were no longer brown, they have become a terrifying forest green.

Normally green eyes a considered adorable, but not Dharl's green eyes. His eyes are this type of green that held nothing but darkness in them.

And whenever his eyes turned green, he sees nothing but darkness. His fangs had grown painfully in his mouth, the aftereffect of not feeding for more than a year now.

Each time he felt the urge to feed growing stronger he would isolate himself from everyone until the urge subsides.

Dharl had been able to keep this going successfully without trials until now. So when Larry was about to enter into the cave, he decided to take it as a challenge he tried to fight off the urge to sink his fangs into the poor boy's neck.

He gritted his teeth because of how much pain his fangs were causing him and blood began to sip through his teeth at the side of his mouth, making it look as if he had just drunk blood.

Larry was completely inside the cave now he put on a flashlight that he had taken out of his bag and flashed it in different directions.

The flashlight could barely see anything other than what it was pointed towards, so he had to keep changing the direction it flashed before he could see what was inside the cave.

The first place he flashed was the middle of the cave where a flat rock like the shape of a bed was situated. He then flashed to the right side of the cave and saw a few scribbles on the walls he wanted to go check them out, but a sound stopped him mid step.

He quickly flashed his light in the direction he heard the sound coming from and saw a mouse running to the darkest part of the cave.

Larry was about to take away his flashlight, but then he stopped abruptly when he noticed a pair of feet by the wall.

His eyes went wide with fear as he raised his touch slowly to the face that was connected to the feet he saw.

"Oh my God," Larry yelled the moment his flash hit the face of Dharl who was standing by the wall silently watching Larry.

Larry took slow shaky steps backwards, his flashlight falling from his loose grip. His brain felt static because he couldn't connect with his feet and be able to run. He only managed a few slow steps backwards.

The man he saw looked so pale like he was a corpse, his eyes looking black in the dark cave, his teeth were baring out of his mouth clearly showing his fangs, and he also had blood dripping down the sides of his mouth.

Larry knew he was a vampire the moment he saw him, even though he had never seen one before.

"This is probably my time to die," Larry thought in his head, and Dharl heard him, which made him smile through his pain.

Dharl then took one swift movement and picked up Larry like a rag doll.

Dharl turned his head painfully to the side trying to get his eyes back to their actual brown, but he was still holding Larry by his neck.

Larry's feet dangled in the air as he reached up his hands to try and free his neck from Dharl's tight hold. His eyes were bulging out of their sockets as he felt his life flash in front of his eyes.

Larry, couldn't speak he could only beg through his mind for him to not die, he had to look after his grandma he's all she has and likewise.

Even though Dharl was tempted to sink his fangs into the neck of the boy he was holding up he was also trying hard not to.

He dropped the boy, to the ground and forcefully held his hands up to his head for a while before he looked hard at the boy on the ground who was now coughing profusely on the floor with his hands up his throat.

Dharl's eyes were still green, but they were a bit lighter than they were before. He had managed to hold back the urge but only for a short while, his fangs were still out.

He stared down at Larry who was on his knees pleading to not be killed, but then something weird happened, Dharl fainted.

Larry was taken aback by the sudden collapse of the man in front of him, and he got up to run away but then he was surprisingly worried about the passed out guy on the floor.

"I shouldn't leave him here," he thought to himself, so he stayed back and waited for the guy to wake up. Larry was still terrified of the guy, but he was too curious to just live him without finding out a few things first.

Dharl woke up only after a few minutes, thinking that the boy must have run away by then, but to his surprise, he found the boy by his head staring down at him.

"Why are you still here boy," Dharl asked him in a rough voice getting up from the ground.

"I just wanted to know if you're truly a vampire," Larry said and that made Dharl snicker.

"Your curiosity made you stay with someone who almost killed you just a few minutes ago," Dharl asked him amusingly.

Dharl had seen a few cowards before, but no one like Larry.

Larry made sure to keep contact with Dharl after that day, and he even helped Dharl completely overcome his blood lust.

Larry only became a vampire a few years back when one of Dharl's enemies decided to kill him to get back at Dharl since Dharl was completely out of their reach. But Dharl ended up saving him with his blood, thereby turning him into a vampire.

Larry had been with Dharl ever since that happened until he became a strong vampire.

He moved to the Bahamas and stayed there with the other vampires that were there.

***

Dharl had the intention of making Larry the leader of the vampires there because he was strong and could be trusted to make great decisions at dying moments, and hearing that he was dead just made everything become tangled up in a jumbled mess.

Dharl knew Larry wasn't really the type to make rash decisions, so receiving the news that he had died didn't really sit well with him.

Dharl's flight landed faster than he thought it would, and when he got out of the plane,  Dale was the one waiting for him with his hands in his pocket as he stood beside a black Audi.

Dhar's jacket was in his hands as he walked fast towards the car while asking Dale what really happened.

"I just left for a few days man what the fuck went on in the span of five days," Dharl demanded in a low rough voice as he went into the car.

"Well apparently they had an argument which the so-called Lycans couldn't handle so they killed Larry just to seek revenge," Dale tried to explain as he drove the car at a high speed because it was nearly sunrise.

"A lycanthropes bite doesn't kill a vampire immediately, so how comes no one informed me that he was bitten until he died," Dharl asked in his naturally calm voice, the one he uses when he was beyond mad.

"He went missing after the bush, we found his body by the lake just last night," Dale explained and Dharl remained quiet.

But even though he was quiet, he knew something was wrong with the story they were telling him, They don't seem to match at all. But he was going to get to the bottom of it since he was here now.

Dale parked at the front of the cabin where Dharl had stayed with his wife just a week ago, and Dharl got out of the car and went into the cabin.

The moment he entered into the cabin, he was instantly reminded of his wife, so he brought out his phone and texted her.

"Hey, you feeling any better," was the short text he sent, but she didn't reply so he decided to call her instead.

He went up the stairs to the room, and removed his clothes, standing in just his shorts, before getting into bed. He then dialled her phone number. The phone rang a few times before she picked up.

"Glamour," he asked into the phone in a low rough voice...
