The alarm clocked sounded loudly on Antons bed table, waking me from my peaceful sleep.
You have got to be kidding me. I groaned, looking at the time. I wasnt sure why Anton had set the clock for five in the morning, but I didnt really want to know. I just wanted to enjoy my sleep.
The clock didnt do anything for Anton, who was sleeping like a rock. The buzzer had done the exact opposite of what it was intended to do.
Annoyed, I pounded on Antons shoulder. Wake up, Anton. You obviously have something important to do atwhat ungodly hour is this?five in the morning.
Anton didnt stir the slightest bit. He was stiff as a board and asleep as a cat.
Anton, I growled out, If you dont wake up this very second, I will throw this alarm clock on your head.
Once again, he displayed no sign that he was alive. My annoyance grew to the point where I was tempted to push him off the bed or dump a bucket of icy water on him.
