Heavy

We descended the building, breaking the deafening silence that had been created by the commotion. We got down to the first floor and I was a little nervous, the sword was a bit assuring but I would have preferred the use of my guns. They were just below my coat after all.

We approched the door and it opened on its own, the residents were somehow connected to the building, as I had to open it manually.

The moment the door fell in, they jumped back. They were being cautious, or so I thought.

"Ahhhhh, their he is, our king to be... hopefully." The clicks were now snaps and the grunts were akin to rolling thunder. Yet I understood.

"That skill of yours... weird." He said scanning the area. "Answer."

"Why... are you here?" As I opened my mouth to speak to it, my tongue clicked and I groaned.

It was natural, which made it all the more terrifying. What else had been attached to me without my knowledge, there was no way to tell.
