LETTERS [1]

The first messenger to arrive was the one from the capital.

The letter from my father was rather lengthy. the first page itself was entirely filled with questions regarding my well-being and a few non-important day-to-day activities of my father in the palace. The rest of the letter contained the update regarding the various projects that had now been underway throughout the kingdom.

From the information I received, it was sufficed to say that every project was at least well underway. The only problem that my father had mentioned in his letter was the fact that every project had an unhealthy number of spectators.

The massive scale of the projects in addition to the fascination about a new spectacle around their homes had people coming out in droves to witness the event. Because the various roads being built had to be connected to every small and large village it was suffice to say that it was not something that could be done under wraps like my first project.
