Chapter 56: Sigil and First Guild War
Then suddenly, a dragon sigil surfaced on my right shoulder as I still felt the burning feeling.
'So I can still feel burns, huh? Or is it because the system implemented it?'
Dragon is the symbol of our guild alongside 6 letters below it.

It meant the name of the five founders of our guild: Xavier, Shawn, Theo, Chase, Fiona, and Levy.
In the closed beta test, all five of us are a team. We traveled the whole continent together and considered ourselves as siblings already.
They are fun to get along with. That is why when we founded the guild and the other beta testers joined, I also got close with the guild and players themselves.
Xavier is the [Flame Emperor] that is famous for the fierceness of his spear.
Chase is the [Undying Poirot] that is also using a spear alongside necromancy which helped him get the title "Undying" due to his undying skeletons and "Poirot" for being clever and wise necromancer.
Shawn is the [Space King] because of his space skills. He can control his teleportation skills very proficiently and he uses space as his movement speed. He became a famous assassin in our guild because of that.
Then me, [Ice Prince] that is very proficient in ice element and ice dragon skills. My control is very precise and strong. Alongside the beautiful and powerful skills of my ice attacks, I looked like a prince who is controlling ice.
On the other hand, Fiona is called [Flower Goddess] because of her combat and healing skills which helped us survive any crisis. With her plant element which includes the manipulation of flowers with poison and antidotes, she got the [Flower Goddess] due to the fact that not only helped us from the back and fight separately, her beauty is also worth her title.
Then finally, there is Levy with his title [Fire Dragon] because of his pet and [Volcano Dragon Tree] which let him use the prowess of a volcano and fire dragon.
Our logo or the system interprets it as a [Sigil] is a dragon due to the fact that dragons are very intimidating and several dragon skills and dragon slayer skills are part of our guild's strength.
Dragon skill users have 5 users while the dragon slayer skills have more than 15 users in our guild. Though the dragon slayer skills are still weak to deal with us.
And the reason why we named our guild [Silent Guild] and not a name that is connected to dragons, is due to the fact that we aren't active in the worldly affairs of this world. We are silent and working in the shadows, we are like the people from the "Underworld".
I continued walking on the bridge as I looked at the [Guild War] function.
It seems like [Guild War] is an enemy or friendly guild battle where one can declare or the system will forcibly choose a guild to start a war.
[Guild War] must be once a week and no guild are exceptions to these rules.
Once you've chosen by the system or declared war, guilds will have to choose seven representatives and they will be the ones who will start the guild battle.
The seven representatives will fight the other representatives while the rest of the members are going to fight the troops of the enemy guild.
Once the seven representatives of the guild are completely lost, that is the only way to end the guild war.
I arrived at the kingdom without knowing and saw the [Angelions] living in a peaceful manner. There are almost no players there except for us.
The guild is in the plaza of the kingdom located at the very central part of the kingdom.
"How nostalgic..." I inhaled the fresh air as I relaxed my mind and exhaled it.
'The air is very delicious!' I smiled inwardly as I continued walking towards the plaza.
The stores and NPC's that we know are still living the way they do.

"I'm back~," I said as the members of the [Silent Guild] are all surprised.
"You should've said that you will come here so that we can celebrate your arrival and the completion of the beta testers..." Shawn frowned as he touched his temple.
"Well, forget about that, do you know what is going to happen now that there are new functions on the guild?" I asked as I sit down on one of the chairs next to the table.
"What do you mean?" Xavier asked as he climbs down the stair.
"Well, they would know our level range and the number of the members, the people in the forum will definitely create a theory that we are a guild consists of beta testers or they people called us [100 Rulers]. Plus, the [Guild War], what should we do? Declaring a war on some guild or let the system itself chose our enemies?" I said as I opened the guild information provided by the [Guild] function.
"Well, we already know about the possibilities of theory and we just decided to remain incognito. Every time we will move, we will wear a piece of hooded equipment just like the equipment you are wearing right now..." Chase said as he pointed his index finger towards my [Elemental Cloak]
"As for the [Guild War], we still don't know. We are thinking of two possible things: We won't choose to declare war but if a guild just declared war against us, we will obviously fight back and the second thing is that we thought is declaring war to any guild hostile or wary towards us but that choice is kind of unreasonable." I stared at Xavier who is explaining their thoughts.
"I kind of want the second choice because of the fact that they are sending spies towards us. And once they got enough information, they might leak it..." Xavier also agreed but he is too kind to handle unreasonable and unjustified actions after all. He got the [Emperor] because of his decisions.
Xavier is the emperor. Chase is the minister, Shawn is the king, I am the prince, Fiona is the princess or the knight and Levy is the jack if you compare it like that.
"Let's just do the second one but it is kind of unreasonable due to the fact that they haven't made a move yet..." Xavier sighed as he heard Chase's suggestion.
"Fine--let's do that..." Xavier gave up as the world announcement suddenly appeared.
[World Announcement: As the debut of the [Guild Wars], we picked several guilds to participate in the first [Guild War] today, You can watch live guild wars using the official website.]
[World Announcement: The [First Guild War] will commence in 5 minutes. Rewards will be given for the participants]
[World Announcement: Guild Battle: Four-Guild Battle: [Sword Maniac Guild], [Hugo Guild], [Sky High Guild] and [Silent Guild]]
"..." Everyone in the room is dumbfounded.
"We are lucky that every member is active today, Hey, let's choose the seven representatives..." Xavier said as he started messaging the other members of the guild.
"Let's have [Flame Emperor], [Undying Poirot],, [Ice Prince], [Flower Goddess], [Fire Dragon], [Ghost Assassin], and [Sword Saint]" Chase said as he walked towards Xavier.
"What? Then who will lead the members if not you?" I asked as he smirked and replied, "Well, we have the [Night Detective], right?"
[Night Detective] is a person who is as good as [Undying Poirot] in strategies. He is considered the [Night Detective] because of his famous support buff and curses alongside his insane strategies. If he is really the one who will lead the members, then, we don't have to worry about the troops. He knew all of our skills and specialties after all.
But I can't see him.
"Where is he?" I stood up and went towards Xavier.
"He is upstairs..." Xavier replied as he continued, "Don't worry about those things. All 100 of us are active, so we don't have to worry."
"Then how about Shawn?" I walked beside Chase and then Xavier immediately replied, "Well, he is an assassin, it is best for him not to be in the representative team because the members might need him"

When another world announcement appeared, a cooldown time is indicated.
[Before the clock turns 00:00, the representatives must go inside the magic circle that will appear in front of all members. Once the seven representatives stepped into it, the members will automatically be teleported into the battlefield]

After the time went down to zero, several magic circles appeared in front of every member of the guild.
We wore our hoods to hide our faces. And hid Ashton inside his [1] capsule.
When I stepped into the circles, Xavier and Chase stepped inside too.
Xavier already messaged the rest of the representatives to enter the circle so we are not going to have a problem in this matter.
Once we stepped in, a light beam appeared in the magic circle. It blinded us and then when we open our eyes once again, we are not inside the guild anymore but a forest.
Xavier, Chase, Levy, Fiona, Tyler, and Carter is also here beside me.
The world announcement said that once we are teleported here, every member will be automatically teleported here but they are nowhere to be seen.
[The [Four-Guild War Battle] participants must prepare now!]
[Rules:
1. Once the teleportation crystal of a guild is destroyed, the guild will get eliminated
2. If the seven representatives are all eliminated (Killed or Immobilized), the guild will get eliminated
3. No restriction on skills
4. No restriction in levels
5. If your skill, items, or equipment got stolen or dropped as you die, it is every member's responsibility
6. Messaging functions such as private message or guild chats are strictly forbidden]
