Lies - Part 1

By this hour of the morning, Elizabeth had decidedly dismissed her previous annoyance which had popped up as a result of having dined privately with the King, Briceus, a couple of minutes prior.

The activity of breakfast had not just resulted in being a boring topic entirely but that person had further heightened the mood of that place by speaking to her rather harshly and scolding her as though she were of far less significance than a child. 

In truth, she ought to have lingered on the matter for just as long but at present she had other thoughts befogging her mind; thoughts pertaining to the information she had just garnered from those loud-mouthed Castle maids not too long ago. 

Her curiosity was the kind that sought to know more about said notorious criminal. She was rather desperate to find out what degree of punishment would be accrued on the man who had indeed failed at an assassination attempt on the King's life.

She hummed a sigh.
