A wellcome Change

Tim chose a Password and fingerprint as authentication for now. After they were both choosen, the notification was gone and he had a full view of the list element. He clicked on the element and the same game opened that he had played on pc before. Only the Recourced were listed a bit differently. They were now sorted into grades of for example the quality of different stones. In general, all the resources he had could be viewed better. From the food that was now divided into different kinds and batches with spoiling dates on them to the wood, that was laid out from small branches too thick logs. Also, the quality of the weapons whose production had just started could be seen and they were all of the normal quality.

After getting familiar with the controls on the phone, he went to sleep because he had to work tomorrow.

After Tim woke up he ate and got ready for work. At the moment he was programming a website for a company that helped customers recover data from broken hard drives. In his Lunch break, after eating he took out his phone to play a bit. The game state progressed further and he got his first wall up.

His thoughts drifted back to the shop he had set up last time as he had no idea, what his benefits were for selling the things, as nothing was added. He searched for the shop on the map, as it was starting to get quite big and finding a building was getting more and more difficult. He read the description:

Hello, Lucky one. For every sale, the money earned is added to your world wallet in the app.

What was the world wallet?

He had not seen such a thing. He exited the game and was taken back to the List. Tim looked around in the app and found a Tab with the title of Wallet next to the one he was currently on, which was the Worlds tab. He clicked on it and again elements appeared. This time the world name had a balance behind it. There were currently two worlds. The first was the game world he played and the second one was his World. Yes, the world he was currently in. Earth. The balance behind the game world was shown in Gold coins and he currently had a balance of 0.12 coins, because a bit more wood and stone had sold in the shop.

After looking for more functions in the Wallet he was astonished. Apparently, he could exchange the Gold coins of the game for money of his world, with was currently set to the currency of the region he was at. Each gold coin has a worth of 50 Euro and a silver coin a value of 5 Euro, indicating that 10 Silver coins were in one gold coin. Tim was surprised and his mind moved back to his younger days when he read a lot of Novels and Mangas. But to check if it was real, he transferred the money for his lunch from the Game account to the account of his world. He got up and paid with the money by scanning a QR code. Everything was processed normally and he had to hold himself, otherwise, he would have walked out with a weird happy face and smile on his face that would have gotten weird looks from the people around.

After the end of his job, he went home and quickly ate. Then he tested some things with the app. Money transfers were possible to his World account but also from it. It was also possible to send money to a different normal account. What he wanted to try next, was to first sell better stuff, for example, the swords the smithy in-game made. The second thing was to test if other maps of games could be integrated and used the same. Also just as he was going to his pc an important fact came to his mind. Will it work on pc? As an app, it was practical to put having the ability to play on pc for home use and for more precise stuff was also important. Also, the controls for the game on the phone weren't the best.

The pc started and Tim opened the game it started and right after he got the notification to install an App for the pc. "Why wouldn't it let me install the one for pc first if I was on pc already?" After it was installed he opened it. Now he was set to test further. He also noticed that since the changes took place the game would not stop after closing the game but would run in the background. This was good and necessary but also dangerous if something like an attack happened at the time he was sleeping. Also, the button to change the speed of the time-flow in-game was still there, and functioning which was surprising and super good for him.

He went to the shop on the map to place some better stuff in it. The best selling thing was like he thought swords and armor at the moment, as better things like large besiege weapons or other things were not in his possession. A single sword sold for around 1.5 Gold coins, which was really expensive he thought. Out of curiosity, he typed it into a search engine. The amount was even lower than said online. It was probably the selling price and not the buying price. Also, the daily wage of 2 bronze coins was interesting (and accurate). After he saw he could sell the different kinds of food separately, he set the ones with the soonest spoiling date for sale.
