Oh No!

(Throughout the chapter I'm going to refer to the 'other Turilla' as 'it' and 'the other' until we get to their name :D )

Turilla awes at the figure in front of her, it has the same messy pink hair, the same exact birthmark near its eye, and even the same black leather clothes that Turilla was wearing at that moment.

"Woah… that's creepy…" Turilla said in an almost whisper.

She stepped down from the cottony surface she sat on and made her way to the creature in her skin. Softly placing a palm on their tan cheek, it had the same squishiness and had the same marks as hers but it's face was ice cold.

'The only difference is the voice…' Turilla thought.

It muttered something inaudibly under its breath.

"Pardon?" Turilla asked, looking around in excitement when it hit her "Wait- WHERE IS IMOGEN?!?" She screamed.

Turilla turned around to see the darkness that when far in place of the comfy surface she and Imogen fell on. No trace of Imogen was left either. It was like she was never with her in the first place.

"Ah~ Your little friend?" It replied in Turilla's voice. "Don't worry about her, instead wanna see the rest of this place?"

'It' gave out a hand for Turilla to take. She hesitated for a while, still afraid of what had happened to her best friend.

"Ok. I wanna see what this place has to offer." Turilla exclaimed and grabbed the other's hand. "By the way, what fragrance do you use? She asked randomly before getting distracted by the glowing cave.

Turilla held onto the other's hand as 'it' showed the amazing things about the sparkly cave. Gigantic crystals were everywhere Turilla turned, a few tiny crystals were still growing near her feet. Turilla's mind kept clouding itself with various questions and plausible answers as well as theories but her eyes zoomed around the endless glittery cave full of wonder.

"These crystals don't grow under sunlight like ordinary plants," The other spoke, breaking the silence. "They grow from the underground water system that our people built a hundred years ago…"

"Woahhhh, That's awesome~" Turilla's eyes sparkled like the crystals around her.

"It is, come now Marabella is waiting for you." The other said walking ahead of Turilla.

"Who's Marabella?" Turilla asked while unquestionably following her doppleganger.

The walk was silent and quick. Turilla almost lost the other while transferring into different tunnels. As they walked through different tunnels and holes of contrasting sizes, smells and colors of sparkly gems, stones and creatures, Turilla noticed that it was getting darker and many of the crystals grew less with each step they took.

She got this (gut) feeling that the two of them were nearing the surface, as her breathing got easier and had very little crystals which were tiny like a finger nail.

'Pip'.... 'pip'.... 'Pip'.... Turilla heard coming ahead, it sounded closer and louder with each passing tunnel.

"Water? Maybe a stream.... Possibly a river?" Turilla pondered in anticipation.

"Pfft-" the other started laughing out of nowhere.

"What is it?" Turilla's thought bubble popped and the wrinkle on her forehead uncreased. "Pretty…" She murmured at the end.

"It seems to me that you are wondering what the sound is, want to go check it out?" The other asked with a smile. "We can take the longer route to Marabella."

" Oooh Yay!" Turilla cheered in excitement. "I hope this Marabella lady doesn't mind it~"

"I… hope so too…" The other mumbled

Turilla skipping behind the other, they ducked down low as they went through one of the smallest tunnels she had ever seen. It was relatively clean except for the sand and dirt under her when a spider's web kissed her in the face, struggling to get the stickiness out of her hair Turilla hit her head on the low tunnel crown earning another chuckle from the other Turilla.

"Hey!" She pouted, rubbing her head. "I just realized something, what is your name?"

"Haha, you sure did take your time asking." The other said stop for a while. "You can call me Umari"

"That's a pretty name." Turilla giggled.

"I- uh- Th- Thank you… you are the first person to say that." Umari replied, flustered by the compliment. "Um… in front of Marabella… don't use my name…"

"But why?"

"There- circumstances don't permit it." She gave a lonely smiled. "Same circumstances make look like you- fiddlesticks! I- I wasn't supposed to say that…"

"Oh… well I'll gladly use your name often." Turilla smiled innocently. "Will you… will you also tell me where Imogen is? Or at least if she's ok?"

"Your friend… She's fine. This cave is only for people of-" Umari lost her smile and sighed. " It's only for special kinds of people. Now come on, you want to see the water, don't you?"

The journey through the tunnels to the water sounds was very silent and seemed endlessly long. Crawling through it made Turilla's limbs numb and she got a few scratches on her arms and a lot of dust and grime on her face.

The ending of the tunnel glowed with light and soothing sounds of trickling water passed through Turilla's ears. A majestic and magical tree stood before her, glass like leaves filled it's healthy dark branches while exquisite flowers bloomed around and a few juicy looking fruit too.

Water streamed down from the rocky, green wall of the cave and made a pond below. The water shimmered under the light from an unknown source. Tiny sea animals, specifically fish, leaped around the glistening lake.

"It's beyond the words in my vocabulary…" Turilla said wonderstruck by the scenery that folded in front of her.

"Haha then you got to read more, come see this." Umari said, pulling her towards the pond.

On closer inspection Turilla saw that the water wasn't falling downwards but upwards to the tree and the tiny cracks on the ground under her. Water droplets floated around in the air making it look like the rain had paused itself. The two girls walked closer to the tree and Turilla noticed that there was something shining inside the tree and some of the water droplets travelled, circulating around it.

"Wanna try touching them? The droplets I mean." Umari asked nudging Turilla who nodded frantically,

"Wow… it feels like water but on air!" Turilla whispered while Umari giggled looking at her child like expression on her face

"What are you doing here?!" A feminine voice roared from behind them.

The two girls quickly turned to the voice. It belonged to a lady with long dark blue hair and a strict face that would make anyone shiver in fear. Her voice was worse that it would make a grown man wet their pants.

"What are 'you' doing here?" She called out to Umari. "And who is-" she stopped mid sentence before walking up to the two girls and yanking them by the wrist.

"Mother's going to be furious~" She grinned at Umari who looked away from her gaze.
