Seamus found the trousers, then returned to changing into his clean clothes and boots. When he had finished he grabbed his and Aliah's clothes and began digging a hole to bury them in.


Pauley look mutinous as he hitched up Seamus' too big trousers and took the shirt Aliah handed to him.Even so, he scrubbed his boots until there was no trace of the sewer mud and Seamus tied them onto his pack to dry. Walter found some cloth to bind his feet in to see them through to the meeting place. Seamus buried the last of their clothing and covered the hole he had dug. When they were ready to travel Walter hurried them to their rendezvous through the trees nearby.


'They're still in the sewers looking for us. I have placed a blocking spell at the exit we came through that will take a strong wizard to detect, so we have some time before they start looking outside the town, but we do need to be away as soon as possible.'
