'Yes, sir!' Daniel performed a mock salute for the captain, who had already moved away as soon as he had spoken to them. After all, he had no time for pleasantries, he had a ship to get underway. As they walked towards the stairs to the cabins Daniel said under his breath, 'And I can see by the fact they are still loading it was only us they were waiting on.' His companions laughed as they followed the boy below deck.
