He froze, unable to decide the best course of action, but he had to do something because to do nothing would certainly end in disaster.

The loud thuds of barbarian soldiers trying to get through the double doors came from behind him. For the moment, the Hand guards were still managing to keep them out. However, Seamus could see the doors bulging as the soldiers outside attempted to force entry. It was only a matter of time until the enemy burst through, and they would be overrun by foreign soldiers. When that happened, the battle would be lost.

"Think," he told his brain. "There must be something you can do." Fire was the only tool he felt confident using. Slowly a plan began to form in his mind. If he concentrated, it was almost like he could see things happening before they did. He could use that.
