A gentle touch on her shoulder awoke Aliah.


Seamus, already dressed, stood waiting by the door. He turned and led the male god out of Aliah's room so she had some privacy to throw on some outdoor clothes.


Since she had been included in the night time training sessions, Aliah had taken to sleeping in trousers and a shirt. All she had to do was pull on some boots and a warm jacket and she was ready to join the others.


Moments later, they were all down in the back courtyard. The space was enclosed by the palace on one side, the garrison quarters on another, the stables opposite, and a high wall adjacent to the stables closed the square. Sheltered from the elements and prying eyes, it was the perfect place for their nightly lessons.
