Stomach now full, all Seamus wanted to do was go back to sleep, however he was aware he needed to start building his magical reserves as rapidly as possible. Liam pushed for them to be on their way to the meeting place, but Seamus had other ideas.


'Liam, the fight will be here soon enough, whether we run to it or it comes to us. I need some learning time with Walter. Perhaps you and Emer should go back down to the bay and make sure the baron is all right for me.'


'Come on, Liam, the two of them are best left alone. And I for one would like to make sure none of those Carstenite soldiers are still hanging around. The last thing we need when we are in the midst of confronting a god is for them to spring up from behind.'


'Surely we would have seen them by now if there were any still around.'
